Final piece
This is my favourite piece and my final piece for the first half of Unit 4. I really like the psychedelic aspects to this piece and how it all blends together so it takes a while to process what you are looking at, especially the skirt (this is a painting of myself sat sideways and the middle part nearer the bottom is the outline of my skirt, but it also has different textures and objects on it and I think it's intriguing that from the viewers perspective, they would interpret the idea of the piece to be completely different. For this piece, I used paint, collage, and a very small amount of chalk pastel.

Kirkgate market
• This is the art I did based off Kirkgate market. Some I did using the college printer and moving the objects as the printer scanned it, and from that and using previous photos I took at the market to make collages. I also based a few of them purely off music, since the image of the man is the person who works at the record shop in the market. I also used paint, and oil pastel.

Cards and out of college
• This is work I have done at home which does not contribute to my college work. Some of these are birthday cards. I used a range of different materials, such as gouache and acrylic paint, and also oil pastel and pencil. I like these because they have many different patterns.

Collaborative pieces
• These are pieces me and my friends have done together. I mostly did the majority of colour in these whereas my friends were doing the lines. the most intriguing is the stump since it is in nature and it is very colourful.
Sketch book switzerland

This is my sketchbook I did in Switzerland, which I spent the summer doing. They were all done in oil pastel and pencil and they have an interesting blurred effect. I enjoyed documenting my real life experiences through abstracted art.

Photography

These are close-up abstract photos I have taken of liquids and textures. I like these because even though photography is usually to record something representational, with these photos I'm creating a whole new image where nothing is identifiable.

• This is a range of artworks that I did at the start of second year of college. I used mixed media to create these.
