Join us in making a positive impact as we come together for a Clarke Neighbourhood Clean-Up! Let’s roll up our sleeves, put on our gloves, and beautify our community!

Date: Sunday, April 21, 2024

Time: 1:00pm - 3:00pm

Meeting Location: Clarke Neighbourhood Park North (Parking Lot)

At this gathering, we’ll distribute garbage bags and gloves to all attendees, ensuring we are equipped to make a difference. Together, we’ll roam the neighbourhood, tidying up litter and ensuring our streets and green spaces sparkle with cleanliness.

Every piece of trash we pick up is a step towards preserving the beauty of our community and safeguarding our environment. Mark your calendars, invite your friends and neighbours, and let’s make this clean-up event a remarkable success!

Portabello’s opened its doors in 2006 and been under the helm of head chef Mario Manzi ever since. Mario has presided as the proprietor of this beloved establishment alongside his wife Monique. Monique has managed the front of the house while Mario has showcased his culinary prowess in the kitchen.

Their passion has evolved into their ultimate aspiration. Mario, originally from Napoli, Italy, immigrated to Canada in 2004 with his wife & children. Mario’s enduring love for cooking fuelled his ambition to extend his culinary talents by establishing a restaurant here in Milton. The rest, as they say, is history!

As you step into Portabello’s, beautiful aromas fill the air, the allure of both the food and the ambiance is utterly infectious. Mario has brought us the epitome of Italian cuisine. Indulge in the same homemade sauce crafted just like his ‘mama’ would prepare on Sunday mornings.

INGREDIENTS

- 1 cup of ice

- 4 oz. of espresso

- 3/4 cup of whole milk

- sweetener of your choice

INSTRUCTIONS

- Add ice to tall glass

- Pour freshly brewed espresso over ice

- Add milk and sweetener to mason jar, secure tightly and shake, shake, shake

- Pour the milk and foam over espresso

- Enjoy!
