Trudeau Park reoPening Soon: exCiting updates & What to expeCt
Trudeau Park is on track to reopen ahead of the anticipated winter date! Although there is still some work to be completed before the, the project team is diligently working to finalize the details.
The park’s contractor is currently addressing the remaining tasks. The completion of this work will depend on weather conditions and the state of the site. Once the site work is completed, the contractor will request an inspection from the Town to ensure that everything has been done in accordance with the contract and that the park is safe for public use. Following the approval, the temporary fencing will be removed, and Trudeau Park will officially reopen to the public.
The park is set to be completed in the coming weeks, showcasing a variety of exciting new amenities:
Free play/open lawn areas: Perfect for casual sports, picnics, and outdoor activities.
Landscape planting: Beautiful new greenery to enhance the park’s natural beauty.
Lighting: Improved visibility and safety for evening visits.
Pathways: Smooth, accessible pathways for walking, jogging, and cycling.
Play areas: Upgraded spaces for children to enjoy outdoor fun.
Shelters(prefabricated): Comfortable spots to gather and relax.
Site furniture: New benches and seating options for your convenience.
Grading and drainage improvements: Enhancements to ensure a well-maintained and enjoyable park experience.
