While she is still exploring her options, she is especially interested in becoming a sonographer or medical assistant.

Outside of school, Mariana enjoys modeling, something she first tried for fun but quickly grew to love. Modeling has helped her build confidence, express herself, and step outside of her comfort zone in a creative way. Her family plays a big role in her life. She describes them as loving, hardworking, and always supportive. They continue to motivate her to do her best and stay focused on her goals.

Tell us about your journey— how did you get started in the Quinceañera dress industry?

We started about 17 years ago, working more behind the scenes with accessories for brides and quinceañeras. About 10 years ago, we decided to open directly to the public, and that changed everything. It gave us the chance to connect more with girls like you and be part of your special day. That’s when we really fell in love with what we do.

Over the past 6+ years working with MiDia Magazine, how have you seen Quinceañera trends evolve?

Right now we’re seeing a lot of pastel colors, metallic tones, sparkle, and 3D details. Dresses that can change, like removable skirts, are also super popular. Girls want something unique and fashion-forward.

When a young girl walks into your boutique, how do you guide her in choosing “the one”?

We start by listening to you. Then we show you different options to try. A lot of times, the dress you fall in love with is not the one you expected—but when you put it on, you just know.

What advice would you give to girls planning their Quinceañera dress?

Enjoy the process. Don’t stress too much. Set a budget, but also think about what really matters to you. This is your moment, so pick something that makes you feel amazing.

Can you share a memorable moment from helping a client?

My Quinceañera was one of the most transformative and memorable moments of my life. It taught me how to appreciate the little moments that can often be rare and easily overlooked. The planning process taught me patience, responsibility, and the value of teamwork. The day itself reminded me how important family, love, culture, and tradition truly are. Walking into my Quinceañera, I felt proud, confident, and ready to embrace new opportunities ahead, never knowing how much that special day would inspire my future.

MY JOURNEY INTO MODELING

Además, tengo el honor de colaborar desde hace tres años con la revista Mi Día Magazine. A lo largo de mi trayectoria, he tenido la oportunidad de trabajar con diferentes tipos de rostros, estilos y ocasiones, lo que me ha permitido mantenerme en constante evolución dentro de la industria de la belleza.
