“Our son, Avalon, was in the NICU when he was born. We didn’t live far from the hospital, but since I was unable to drive for six weeks and my husband had returned to work, we felt it was best to check with the
Ronald McDonald House to see if they had any rooms available. Luckily, about a week after being released from the hospital, we went straight to RMH and stayed for a month until Avalon graduated from the NICU. Staying at the Ronald McDonald House made a difficult time much easier by allowing us to stay close to our son when he needed us most. We are forever grateful for the opportunity to be near him as first-time parents.”
