“I would like to share my personal experience at the Ronald
McDonald House. It was a great blessing to my family and me. I arrived at the RMH shortly after being discharged from Cox South. I delivered my son at 33 weeks and had to be sent to Cox South because of preterm labor. Our son later stayed in the NICU for 20 days. Upon being discharged from the hospital after giving birth, we were given the chance to stay at the Ronald McDonald House so we could be close to our son and see him every day. The RMH provided a safe, comfortable place that felt like being at home. My family and I were given a warm environment to stay in for the next 20 days, with hot meals and warm smiles from a caring team of staff and volunteers. I am very thankful for all of their care and support at a time when we needed it most.”
