“In late June of 2024,
at 32 weeks pregnant, I was unexpectedly admitted to the hospital and gave birth to our son, William, just a few days later. He weighed 4 pounds, 14 ounces, and spent 31 days in the NICU. Thanks to a caring postpartum nurse, we were connected with the Ronald McDonald House. They had a room ready for us the day I was discharged, giving us a peaceful and private place to rest, shower, and eat—all while being just steps away from our baby. We were even able to have family come visit us there, which brought us so much comfort during such a difficult and emotional time. The staff greeted us with smiles and kindness every day, and the nightly complimentary dinners were such a blessing. Today, William is thriving—a bright, happy, and healthy little boy. We will forever be grateful to the Ronald McDonald House for helping us stay close when it mattered most.”
