Accelerated Commercial Real Estate
The Taos By Accelerated Commercial Real Estate The Taos is a heavily treed, Sedona-styled condominium community featuring two-bedroom, two-bath homes. These 1,046-square-foot homes have been renovated with a number of expected features including granite countertops, newer cabinets, stainless steel appliances and fireplaces in select homes. The Taos features a gated entry and residents can often be found enjoying the heated pool and spa year-round, along with a clubhouse, workout room and barbecue areas in the quiet and peaceful setting. Because the community is gated, it is ideal for winter visitors who enjoy the benefits of “lock and leave”. Residents of The Taos enjoy living a short distance from the amenities of Scottsdale, North Phoenix and Paradise Valley. For example, the community is within walking distance to Paradise Valley Mall and numerous tourist attractions. The Taos is also near a number of restaurants, grocery stores, entertainment options and recreational parks as well as public transportation and several public and private golf courses. For as little as 5 percent down, buyers enjoy the benefits of ownership for what many would expect to pay for rent (certain restrictions apply).

f you are looking forward to entertaining in your new home, you may wonder whether living in a condo or townhome could cramp your style. In reality, there are advantages to hosting a gathering in a condo or townhome that aren’t necessarily instantly obvious, experts in residential design say. Entertaining spaces galore “More and more luxury condos and townhomes are being designed with entertaining in mind,” said Taylor Robinson, the in-house designer for Two Biltmore Estates, a luxury condo community in Phoenix. “They’re also being designed with amenities and spaces that flow together, like a living room and dining room that seamlessly become one with the patio at the touch of a button that retracts a glass door,” he said. “This makes for elegant entertaining when drinks in the living room transition to dinner in the indoor/outdoor space.” “With our open kitchen and living and dining room concept, the entire living area is the perfect space for entertaining,” said Shantelle Monongye of the Statesman Group of Companies, which developed The Cays at Downtown Ocotillo in Chandler. “These plans open up your whole home and the kitchen layouts especially lend themselves to cooking, eating and drinking all while chatting with guests and family around the kitchen island,” she said. “Our first-floor outdoor patios lend themselves to an incredible indoor/outdoor experience with some patios fitting dining tables for six to eight people.” Meanwhile, Mountain Shadows Resort in the heart of Paradise Valley features 42 condos as part of a full-service resort. “Each of the condo types at Mountain Shadows is designed as an open plan that
directly ties the foyer, kitchen, dining and living rooms as a free-flowing space,” said Mark Philp, founding partner of Allen + Philp Architects, the firm behind the interiors of Mountain Shadows. Each condo’s open plan is “anchored by sliding

glass panels that flood the space with natural light, capture views and provide access to the patio or balcony, effectively extending and enhancing the entertaining space.” Flexibility is key “One of the simplest ways to transform an everyday living space is to create spaces in your home that are multifunctional,” Monongye said. “You can do this by placing flexible seating areas like benches, ottomans and extendable tables around the home that can accommodate eight to 10 people while they mingle and engage with one another.” High ceilings and good ventilation make a space feel airy and relaxing even if it is on the smaller side, said Vicki Anderson of Moderna Architects in Scottsdale.
