ThatCouncildevelopapolicytobettersupportresidentsimpactedby illegallyblockeddriveways,includingbutnotlimitedtoinvestigating provisionoftowingservicesinthefollowingcircumstances:
a.wherearesidentisblockedfromexitingtheir driveway,atow truckisengagedimmediately;and
b.wherearesidentisblockedfromenteringtheirdriveway,a towtruckisengagedafter24hours.
DrivewayEnforcementSummary
Sincethe commencementoftowingoperationsmidAugust,a totalof 1,058requestshavebeenreceived.
Outcomestodateinclude:
• 106PenaltyNoticesissuedforvehiclespartially obstructingadriveway
