1. SCOPO a. Approfondire la preparazione del Quadri nella concezione, organlzzilzlone e condotta di azioni di controInterdizione d'area per la Difesa del Territorio. b. Perfezionare il grado di addestramento della Truppa nell'attuazione del procedimenti d'Impiego relativi alla delimitazione ed all'eliminazione di forze nemiche di limitata consistenza. 2. TEMA Il gruppo tattico meccenizzato, inquadrato in una Brigata Incaricata della Difesa del Territorlo,nell'elimlnazlone di forze nemiche aviolanciate.

MARTA con Il compito presumibile di interdire le vie di comunicazione liloranee a Nord di CIVITAVECCHIA e di colpire installazioni civili e militari esistenti nell'area.

(2) AZZURRO La Brigata meccanizzata •Granatieri di Sardegna•, responsabile della difesa della Provincia di Roma, ha ricevuto l'ordine di porre in atto l'ipotesi •gialla• che prevede l'intervento con un'aliquota di forze per ricercare, delimitare ed eliminare gli elementi arancione individuati nell'area a Nord di CIVITAVECCHIA (TUSCANIA - VETRALLA BLERA- TARQUINIA).

SITUATION AT 0600 HOURS ON 0+6 = 27 JUNE 1989 (1) ORANGE FORCES Company leve l forces were air dropped during the night 0+6 in the area between MIGNONE and MARTA rivers, with the probable task of i nterdicting coastal routes North of CIVITAVECCHIA and attacking civil and military installations. (2) BLUE FORCES The -Granatieri di Sardegna• mechanized Brlgade, with the mission of defending the District of Rome, was ordered to carry out the •yellow- option which provides for the intervention of units to search, surround and eliminate enemy elements located in the area North of CIVITAVECCHIA (TUSCANIA- VETRALLABLERA- TARQUINIA).

LA STORIA
mSTORY
U r Reggimento delle Guardie, costituito i/18 aprile 1659, dà vita il 20 gennaio 1816 alla «Brigata Granatieri Guardie». Dall'inizio de/1832/a Brigata «Guardie» è composta dal Reggimento «Granatieri>> e dal Reggimento «Cacciatori». Con decreto 20 aprile 1850 viene soppressa la Brigata <<Guardie» e formata la «Brigata Granatieri» che assume la nuova denominazione di Brigata «Granatieri di Sardegna» i/19 marzo 1852. La Brigata, con i suoi R eggimenti, partecipa con gloria ed onore alle Guerre d'Indipendenza Italiane ed aDa r Guerra Mondiale. Nel luglio 1939 si trasforma in Divisione costituita dal r e 2 Reggimento «Granatieri» e da/13' Reggimento Artiglieria. Durante il Secondo Conflitto Mondiale, la Grande Unità prende parte alle operazioni sul li"onte occidentale ed io Balcania. Rientrata a Roma alla fine de/1942, viene posta alle dipendenze del Corpo d'Armata Motocorazzato per presidiare i capisaldi predisposti in corrispondenza delle vie d'accesso alla Capitale. Dal/'8al 10 settembre 1943, schierata a sud di Roma a cavaliere deUa Via Ostiense, la Divisione partecipa, distinguendosi per l 'alto valore, alle operazioni per la Dilèsa di Roma. Per tale fatto d'arme vengono conlèrite la Medaglia d'Argento al Va/or Militare al r Reggimento «Granatieri» e la Medaglia di Bronzo al 2' Reggimento «Granatieri» ed al 13' Reggimento ArtigfieniJ. Nello stesso anno, la Divisione viene sciolta per essere nuovamente costituita il . r aprile 1948 quale Divisione di Fanteria <<Granatieri di Sardegna». In datar novembre 1976, nel quadro della ristrutturazione dell'Esercito, viene ricostituita la Brigata «Granatieri di Sardegna>> che, assunta la fisionomia mecca.nizzata, inquadra unità Granatieri, Be!S8g/ieri, Carristi, di Artiglieria, del Genio, delle Trasmissioni e /ogisticbe.
On 20 Janu81]' 1816 the l" «Guards Regimenb>, lìrst formed on 18 Apri/1659, gives fife to the «Grenadiers Guards Brigade». From early 1832, the <<Guards Brigade» is made up of «Grenadiers» and «Light lnfantry» Regiments. Following an ordinance dated 20 Apri/ 1850, the «Guards Brigade» is abolished ami, in its piace, the «Grenadiers Brigade>> is created which, on 19 March 1852, takes on the new name of «Grenadiers ofSardinia>> Brigade. With its Regiments, tbe Brigade takes part, witb great honour andglory, in the Ita/ian Wars of /ndependence and in the First Worid War. In July 1939, it becomes a Division formed by the l"' and r «Grenadiers» Regiments and by the l? Arti/lery Regiment. During the Second World War, the Division takes part in operations on the Westem li"ont and in the Balkans. Having retumed to Rome at the end of 1942, i t is placed under command of the Motorized Armoured Corps to garrison the strongholds located on the main routes /eading to the Capita/. Deployed South of R ome, on the Via Ostiense, the Division takes part, trom 8 to 10 September 1943, in the operations for the de/ènce ofRome, distinguishing itself for great bravery. For such action, tbe Si/ver Meda/ for Military Va/our is awarded to the !' «Grenadiers>> R egiment and the Bronze Meda/ to the «Grenadiers>> R egiment an d the l Artil/ery Regiment. In the same year, the Division is deactivated to be formed again on l Apri/1948 as «Grenadiers of Sardinia lnfantry Division». On l November 1976, in the framework of the Army reorganization, the «Grenadiers of Sardinia Brigade» is formed again and, as a mechanized unit, i t is made up ofGrenadiers, Bersaglieri, Tank, Artillery, Engineer, Signa/ and logistic units.
