atKCC

InspiredbyCuriousity

At KCC, the IB curriculum is more than academics; it’s a journey of discovery. Our students explore, inquire, and innovate, guided by world-class educators who foster curiosity and resilience.

Primary Years Programme: Where discovery begins.

Middle Years Programme: Building creative, reflective thinkers.

Learning

WithoutBoundaries

We believe learning happens everywhere—in STEAM labs, on the sports field, and through community service. Our focus on inquiry-based learning and global perspectives ensures students develop skills to lead with purpose.

The iB Journey at KCC:

EmpoweringGlobalLearners

At KCC, we offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum—a worldrenowned framework that empowers students to become active, compassionate, and lifelong learners. Our IB journey begins with the youngest learners in the Early Years and continues through to graduation in the Diploma Programme.

In our dynamic and nurturing Early Years, part of the Primary Years Programme, learning begins through play, exploration, and connection. Children engage in hands-on, inquiry-based experiences that build foundational skills and foster a love of learning. Through caring relationships and purposeful play, our youngest students develop language, independence, empathy, and confidence in a nurturing and joyful environment.

In the Primary Years Programme, learning is driven by students’ natural curiosity and big questions about the world. Through transdisciplinary themes, students explore real-world concepts across subjects, developing critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills. The PYP encourages students to take ownership of their learning and reflect on their growth as learners, individuals, and global citizens.

The Middle Years Programme is where students begin to explore more complex ideas and strengthen their sense of identity and purpose. With a strong academic foundation and an emphasis on real-world connections, the MYP promotes creative problem-solving, interdisciplinary thinking, and ethical decision-making. Students take increasing responsibility for their learning while discovering their passions and exploring new perspectives.

The Diploma Programme is a rigorous, two-year pre-university course that challenges students academically while supporting their social and emotional development. With a focus on research, writing, and global awareness, the DP equips students with the tools to succeed at top universities and in life beyond school. At its core are the three elements— Theory of Knowledge (TOK), the Extended Essay (EE), and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS)—which ensure students graduate not only knowledgeable, but also reflective, balanced, and caring individuals.
