Sarah Sheppard
Sarah Sheppard is an author and illustrator. Afer a universit class in paleontology Sarah combined her profession with a passion for science and dinosaurs, and she wrote and illustrated the hugely popular and critically acclaimed book Lots of Dinosaurs, published in 2008. Since then she has continued to write and illustrate several non-fiction books for children, always with a quirk mix of humor, facts and fantasy.
Sheppard’s book Important Maps for Daydreamers and Adventurers has brought the curiosit for our amazing planet for tens of thousands of children about all the amazing, exciting and mysterious things you can find in the world.

• Te Dino Deluxe Exhibition and play area at Kulturhuset Stockholm, opened in September 2020.
• Based on the book Dino Deluxe., the exhibition ofers facts and opportunities to go sliding on a Stegosaurus and stick your head into the belly of a T-Rex!
• Sheppard’s dinosaur exhibitions has travelled all over Sweden.

Brand new series premiered spring 2021!
• Te animated TV series "Dino Deluxe", premiered on CMORE spring 2021. Produced by SF Studios.
• Teme song made by Jocke Åhlund from Teddybears.
• TV series sold to Norway, Finland and Denmark Season 1: 10 episodes x 7 minutes.
• Dino Deluxe is an animated infotainment series for 3 to 7-year olds. Each episode tell facts on diferent dinosaurs, how big they were, how they lived and what relatives they had. Te series will also tell what happened when dinosaurs disappeared.

• 2014 awarded the Carl von Linné Plaque, for Best Non-fiction Children’s Book "Important Maps for Adventurers and Daydreamers" and for her collected works.
• 2008 August Prize nominee, Best Children and YA fiction for "Lots of Dinosaurs”.
