


Mauri Kunnas (born in 1950) is Finland’s most successful and beloved author of illustrated children’s books. Kunnas has published over 50 titles, that have been translated into 42 languages worldwide - including UK, US, Japan, China, Russia, Germany and Scandinavia.
Over 10 million copies have been sold worldwide. Mauri Kunnas’ first picture book was published in 1975, marking the start of his astonishingly successful career.
