Mauri Kunnas (born in 1950) is Finland’s most successful and beloved author of illustrated children’s books. Kunnas has published over 50 titles, that have been translated into 42 languages worldwide - including UK, US, Japan, China, Russia, Germany and Scandinavia.

Over 10 million copies have been sold worldwide. Mauri Kunnas’ first picture book was published in 1975, marking the start of his astonishingly successful career. Now rich licensing program is in development, spanning across all categories. In his spare time, Mauri Kunnas listens to Te Beatles, plays the guitar, watches movies and TV shows and admires thunderstorms.

Te traditional character of the real Santa Claus comes from Mount Korvatunturi in Finnish Lapland, as depicted by Mauri Kunnas. Te books celebrate the magic of Christmas, caring communit spirit and traditional crafmanship. Kunnas’ picture book Santa Claus is his most beloved worldwide. In 1992 the Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE produced the animation film Santa Claus and the Magic Drum, based on the book of the same name. Since then, the movie has been sold to more than 50 countries worldwide and remains as YLE's bestselling movie of all times.

Te Doghill Farm books and characters brings traditional Nordic country

living to life, customs and stories with delicious humour and carefully researched facts in a popular book series set in a farm and in a cit of the 19th century. Te tales are full of life and fun, and the illustrations are rich in visual details, whether it is the buildings, utensils, clothing, or landscapes of the rural scenes of yesteryear.

A Doghill themed playpark is a well known destination in Tampere, by Särkänniemi amusement park.

Te Doghill pups are familiar to all patients visiting Pikkujäti children’s hospital, who uses bespoke images in their marketing and at their premises.
