BEFORE YOUR AUDITION » Complete your audition form through your Be A Bronc Applicant Dashboard checklist. » If you haven't completed, please upload a headshot and artistic resume to your application dashboard through Portfolio. » Bring one copy of your headshot and resume to the audition. » Refer to your Be a Bronc Dashboard for your audition time. » More information about your upcoming audition, such as location of arrival and parking, will be sent closer to your audition date.

AUDITION AND INTERVIEW INFORMATION B.F.A. MUSICAL THEATRE:

B.F.A. ACTING FOR FILM, TELEVISION, AND THEATRE:

» Dance Call: » Prior to your audition, please learn the Dance Combination taught by faculty member Robin Lewis. Students are expected to know the dance combination prior to their audition. » rider.edu/dancecombination » Download the music for the combination at: » rider.edu/combinationmusic » Your dance call will be held at the beginning of the day » You may complete the dance call in jazz or ballet shoes » Please come prepared to move and have fun!

» Audition Materials: » Please prepare two contrasting contemporary monologues for your audition: » One should be comedic and the other dramatic » Monologues should be 1–2 minutes in length » Be sure to choose an age-appropriate monologue » No dialects » Prior to your audition, please upload video recordings of you performing the same monologues you prepared for your Rider audition. » The video should be uploaded to your Be A Bronc Applicant Dashboard by the date of your audition.

» Individual Auditions: » Please prepare two 32 bar vocal cuts for your audition and sing what you sing best. You may sing the same songs from your pre-screen video or choose a different song entirely. You may be asked to sing only one of your songs. You also may be asked to sing something pop or contemporary, so please be prepared if asked. » Please prepare your same monologue from your pre-screen video. » Please provide sheet music in the appropriate key that has piano accompaniment.

B.A. THEATRE: DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY, THEATRE-MAKING » Prior to your live interview, please upload the following to your Be A Bronc Applicant Dashboard: » Design & Technology Concentration: » Please submit a current resume, your portfolio and/or a short video with you speaking a bit about your production experiences. Your portfolio may contain pictures, photos, drawings, drafting, programs or sketches used to execute and/or document your work. Include work in progress or finished products. It can also include other types of work that shows skills using tools, drawing, sketching, drafting or image editing. For stage managers, please include samples of paperwork used to organize and run rehearsals or productions » Theatre-Making Concentration: » Please upload a current resume of your recent theatrical activities and/or an artistic portfolio
