BEFORE YOUR AUDITION » Complete your audition form through your Be A Bronc Applicant Dashboard checklist. » If you haven't completed, please upload a headshot and artistic resume to your application dashboard through Portfolio. » Bring one copy of your headshot and resume to the audition. » Refer to your Be a Bronc Dashboard for your audition time.
AUDITION AND INTERVIEW INFORMATION » Date: February 7, 2026 » Note: all auditions will take place in Pacific Standard Time (PST) » Location » Westin Los Angeles Airport Hotel, 5400 W Century Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90045 » Audition room: Hangar 380 » Note: LA Unifieds is an in-person audition site; however, our faculty will not be on site at LA Unifieds. A Rider University representative will be recording your live audition for our faculty to review from campus. Please prepare the following requirements for your intended program and expect for your audition to be recorded.
B.F.A. ACTING FOR FILM, TELEVISION, AND THEATRE: » Audition Materials: » Please prepare two contrasting contemporary monologues for your audition: » One should be comedic and the other dramatic » Monologues should be 1–2 minutes in length » Be sure to choose an age-appropriate monologue » No dialects » Prior to your audition, please upload video recordings of you performing the same monologues you prepared for your Rider audition. » The video should be uploaded to your Be A Bronc Applicant Dashboard by the date of your audition.

B.F.A. MUSICAL THEATRE: » Dance Call: » There will be no in-person Dance Call. Please learn the dance combination and upload a video recording to your Be A Bronc Applicant Dashboard by the date of your audition. » rider.edu/dancecombination » Download the music for the combination at: » rider.edu/combinationmusic » You may complete the dance call in jazz or ballet shoes » Individual Auditions: » Please prepare two 32 bar vocal cuts for your audition and sing what you sing best. You may sing the same songs from your prescreen video or choose a different song entirely. » Please prepare your same monologue from your pre-screen video. » Please provide a pre-recorded track/accompaniment for your selections.
