B.F.A. ACTING FOR FILM, TELEVISION, AND THEATRE: » Audition Materials: » Please prepare two contrasting contemporary monologues for your audition: » One should be comedic and the other dramatic » Monologues should be 1–2 minutes in length » Be sure to choose an age-appropriate monologue » No dialects » Prior to your audition, please upload video recordings of you performing the same monologues you prepared for your Rider audition. » The video should be uploaded to your Be A Bronc Applicant Dashboard by the date of your audition.

B.F.A. MUSICAL THEATRE: » Dance Call: February 2 at the Palmer House Hilton, The Slate Ballroom » Prior to your audition, please learn the Dance Combination taught by faculty member Robin Lewis. Students are expected to know the dance combination prior to their audition. » rider.edu/dancecombination » Download the music for the combination at: » rider.edu/combinationmusic » Please register for the mandatory dance call by January 27. Students can select either 5:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. for their designated audition site. Students were sent registration instructions in their audition confirmation email. » You may complete the dance call in jazz or ballet shoes » Please come prepared to move and have fun! » Individual Auditions: » Please prepare two 32 bar vocal cuts for your audition and sing what you sing best. You may sing the same songs from your pre-screen video or choose a different song entirely. You may be asked to sing only one of your songs. You also may be asked to sing something pop or contemporary, so please be prepared if asked. » Please prepare your same monologue from your pre-screen video. » Please bring a pre-recorded track/accompaniment for your selections and a speaker.
