NORM BRODSKY COLLEGE OF BUSINESS Is a Business Degree Worth it? – Location | SWG 118 Join an interactive panel of Rider alumni at various stages of their careers as they share their professional journeys, career opportunities, and experiences after graduation. Panelists will reflect on the value of their Rider education, lessons they’ve learned along the way, and advice for students preparing to launch their own careers in business.
Business in Action and Living Learning Community for Business Majors at Rider – Location | SWG 117 Join our faculty and students who have won the annual Business in Action Competition offered each year to first year students. Students will share their experiences in internships, study abroad, case competition and real world projects that help our business students have a competitive edge before and after graduation.
From Classroom to Career – Rider is Giving Employers What They Want! – Location | SWG 115 Hear from professionals who typically hire Ride graduates. They will share what they are seeking from new graduates as employees. You will hear about internships and opportunities from employers and things that will help you secure these experiences while at Rider. How to Prepare for Your College Audition – Location | FA 153 (Spitz Theater) Join the Westminster Choir College & Department of Performing Arts faculty as they discuss what makes a good audition in theater, musical theater and classical music. Learn tips on how to ace your next audition and Rider’s audition process.
From Rider to the Big Apple and Beyond – Location | FA 104 (Yvonne Theater) Spend time with Rider’s faculty who have performed at the pinnacle of their art: in opera houses, on Broadway, as judges for the Metropolitan Opera Competition, and for the Disney Corporation. Our student Media Center is comprised of The Rider News, 107.7 The Bronc, and R.U.N., the student television and production studio. The Media Center is run by students in our Radio and Podcasting, Film and TV, Journalism, Graphic Design, Social Media Strategies, Sports Media and Communication Studies majors. Hear from a panel of current students and faculty about how these opportunities are helping them craft their futures.

The Sports Media Landscape – Location | FA 205 This session will focus on the changing sports media landscape and how sports media professionals are becoming more skilled at reaching fans. You will tour our campus facilities and visit the Rider ESPN truck.
Rider Graduates Who Are Thriving in Media Fields – Location | SCI 201 Interested in sports media, journalism, radio, public relations, graphic design or another area of the media industry? Join Rider faculty and successful alumni as they share how their Rider experience helped prepare them for their careers. The Human League: Solving Real-World Problems through Psychology, Social Work & Criminal Justice Location | LAH 202 Explore the many ways you can turn an interest in people, communities, and society into a meaningful career. Faculty and students from Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, and Sociology will share how their fields help us understand human behavior, address real-world challenges, and prepare graduates for careers that make an impact.
Internships & Research in Liberal Arts – Location | LAH 207 See where a liberal arts education can take you. Explore how students in English, History, and Political Science put their learning into action through internships, original research, writing, and public-facing projects. You’ll also learn about distinctive opportunities to engage in politics and public affairs through the Rebovich Institute for New Jersey Politics.
Finding Your Voice: Compete, Present, Publish – Location | LAH 208 Discover how Rider students take learning beyond the classroom through experiences that put knowledge into action. This session will showcase opportunities to compete, present, publish, and engage with real-world issues through Mock Trial, Model UN, Venture, the GSS Colloquium, civic engagement projects, and other hands-on learning experiences.

Learning accommodations, The Penn Health Center & Rider Counseling Center – Location | LAH 127 Rider provides support for students throughout their time on campus. Programs and services are provided to help students adjust to college life and manage stress. Professional staff are available to meet with students who need academic or other accommodations to be successful in and out of the classroom. This session will cover how to access services and the process for accommodations at Rider.
The Student Athlete Experience at Rider – Location | LAH 126 Student-athletes at Rider perform both on and off the field. In this session, you will hear from coaches, current student-athletes, and athletic staff about the student-athlete experience and what it means to be a Bronc. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and hear firsthand about life as a student-athlete at Rider!
