Seeing green for St. Patrick’s Day Wantagh and Seaford residents lined Wantagh Avenue on Sunday for the Chamber of Commerce’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, one of Long Island’s largest celebrations of Irish heritage. The sixth annual event drew tens of thousands of spectators, along with local fire departments, marching bands, community groups and first responders for a festive day of music, pride and community spirit.
