Students of the Lawrence High School class of 2026 turned their tassels and celebrated the culmination of their high school careers during commencement exercises on June 29 at the tilles center for the Performing Arts. Graduates crossed the stage before proud family members, friends, faculty and district administrators as they received their diplomas and pre-
pared to begin the next chapter of their lives. the ceremony recognized students for their academic achievements, leadership, perseverance and contributions to the school community over the past four years. School leaders encouraged graduates to embrace new opportunities while carrying forward the values of integrity, resilience and service that defined their
time at Lawrence High School. the commencement featured student speeches, musical performances and the traditional turning of the tassels, marking the official transition from students to alumni. As the ceremony con-
cluded, applause filled the auditorium as the class of 2026 celebrated its accomplishments and looked ahead to futures that include college, military service, careers and other pursuits. â Melissa Berman
