‘Rocking for Israel 3’ brings classic rock to Lawrence Hewlett High School regeneron scholar page 3
The Israel Chesed Center hosted “Rocking for Israel 3” which is a benefit concert that raises money for 1,000 fire resistant uniforms for IDF soldiers. The evening featured musical performances from three bands: Rambling Roses, Acoustic Retro and Playing Dead.
Another goal of the event was to raise awareness of the organization Pens and Swords, an advocacy group for Israel run through social media. Their initiative is to help make significant change including sending mass emails to speak or against ideas.
