The Manna Project of Long Island hosted their annual free toy and food drive for the holidays at the First Baptist Church of Lawrence, on Dec. 20. The Manna Project serves residents of Nassau County and the surrounding communities. It was founded in
2020 and they strive to be a community-supported organization by partnering with local congregations, organizations, businesses and individuals. Led by President Yvette Hester, they handed out bags of food and toys starting at 10 a.m. until
