East Rockaway to host forum on proposed realignment The East Rockaway School District will host a community forum on Thursday, at 7 p.m., at the East Rockaway Junior/ Senior High School to discuss a proposed realignment plan. The plan would reorganize elementary schools by grade, with one serving K–3 and the other grades 4–6, impacting the Centre Avenue and Rhame Avenue schools. The evening will include a presentation and Q&A session, and residents are encouraged to attend or watch via livestream on the district’s YouTube channel.
