Igniting knowledge at Bowling Green Members of the East Meadow Fire Department visited Bowling Green Elementary School to give students in the district’s Extended School Year program a fun and informative fire safety presentation. The visit aimed to teach young students valuable fire safety skills, and in return, the firefighters received heartfelt thank-you cards from the kids. Above, students worked with firefighters to learn how to operate a firehouse.
