Turkey Brigade spreads much holiday cheer Turkeys were handed out at Stew Leonard’s in East Meadow, part of the store’s annual Turkey Brigade. Cars for local charities lined up outside the store and store employees, volunteers, firefighters, police officers and elected officials loaded the trunks with dozens of turkeys.
