Walking the park to support veterans in need More than 100 people gathered at Eisenhower Park for the second annual Veterans Valor Food Drive & Walk, collecting food and essential supplies for the Vet Mart Pantry in East Meadow. The half-mile walk around Salisbury Lake brought veterans, residents, officials and volunteers together to honor those who served.
