Oceanside resident and Baldwin Chamber of Commerce member Mark Greenberg has created a group of allies through his networking organization.

Finding a network of business on LI By KEPHERD DANIEl kdaniel@liherald.com

What started as a small breakfast meet-up has blossomed into a thriving Long Islandwide network—bringing together nearly 50 business owners and professionals from across the region, including many from Baldwin, who gather re gularly at the Oceanside IHOP on Long Beach Road for the popular Let’s Meet and Network on Long Island events. From health insurance to home care to real estate, business owners and employees from Baldwin, Freeport, Oceanside, Valley Stream, and beyond come together to build friendships, exchange referrals, and share valuable advice aimed at helping their businesses succeed. Mark Greenberg, an Oceanside resident

and founder of Let’s Meet, also actively involved in the Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, started the group to create more meaningful connections across the business community. “Our motto is, ‘Do a good deed by simply helping another business owner succeed,’” Greenberg said. “It’s about supporting each other locally, so our community thrives—and if they stay in business, I stay in business too. It’s a win-win.” In addition to the monthly evening gatherings, the group meets weekly for breakfast at IHOP and hosts virtual Zoom calls, keeping the network accessible to a growing number of local entrepreneurs. Their online business-card directory at lmnoli.com also helps members stay connected. The July 30 meeting featured Baldwin residents among key participants, including COntinued On paGe 16
