The 16th Annual Great River Car Show and Cruise will be held, rain or shine, Saturday, July 21st, at Triangle Park in McGregor. People of all ages are invited to enjoy 50’s and 60’s music, food, beverages and a lot of show-stopping cars and trucks. The public is encouraged to come vote for your favorite car. Registration for entrants is from 9 a.m. til noon - Registration is $10 per entry. Cruise will begin at 2 p.m. Trophies and raffle prizes will be awarded after the cruise. Trophies will be awarded in each of the following classes: Classic Car, Muscle Car, Antique Car, Street Rods, Truck Class, Sports Car, Late Model, Imports, and Special Interest. Awards will also be given for the McGregor & Marquette Mayor’s Choice, and People’s Choice. We also are hosting a vendor show and a “Yes, I Can Paint” painting party in Backwoods Event Center.
