PRAIRIE DU CHIEN:
This past weekend over 400 people from around the country gathered in the Driftless hills of Platteville Wisconsin for an incredible weekend of live music and art. Driftmore 2021 opened its gates to guests on Friday September 3rd at 1pm. Quickly the grounds began to fill with ticket holders from across the country. Music lovers from as far as Texas to Oregon made their way to little ole Platteville Wisconsin with hopes to experience the allure that Driftmore has to offer. Music began at 4 pm Saturday and carried on into the night until 2:30am showcasing a variety of musical styles. The night included a stellar performance by Iowa musician and producer Blookah on the Big Top Stage. Guests finished their evening on the hillside with the Allegro Audio crew for an immersive sound experience unlike any other. Saturday Morning Campers began to rise in the fog and began to wander toward the forest for the Wickers Portal sunrise set. A peaceful meditative web of sound greeted guests along with the smells of cinnamon rolls, coffee, and mimosas. As the day carried on guests were invited to enjoy food from various vendors and shop amongst the art crafters on site. The weekend carried on without a hitch. Driftmore 2021 was truly a great success with amazing music , epic art, and even better company! We look forward to the next time we can gather at Driftmore Music and Arts Festival.
