October 24, 2018 Elizabeth Christina Christian, 81, of Lone Rock died Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at Greenway Manor in Spring Green. Elizabeth was born on April 13, 1937, the daughter of Walter and Bessie (Higginbotham) Cooper. On April 13, 1953, she was united in marriage to Raymond Christian at the Richland County Courthouse
in Richland Center, WI. Together they farmed in Clyde for over 30 years before moving to Lone Rock. Elizabeth is survived by her children, Sheryl Christian of Lone Rock, Jodie Christian (Alvin Christianson) of Lone Rock, Jennifer Christian of Richland Center; grandchild Alvin (A.J.) Christianson (Sara Christianson) of Lone Rock; and great-grandchildren Chloe Christianson and Preston Christianson of Lone Rock. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Christian and her son Ray JR Christian. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Lone Rock Cemetery. SEPTEMBER 13 - OCTOBER 18 In September, Agrace Hospice Care will begin “Journey Through Grief,” a grief support group series, in Richland Center. This group is for adults who are grieving a death, and any local resident is welcome, even if the person who died did not have hospice care. Journey Through Grief meets weekly for six weeks at Schmitt Woodland Hills Community Room, 1400 W. Seminary Street, Richland Center. It is scheduled for Thursdays, September 13 through October 18, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. If a person’s loved one who died was served by Agrace or another hospice in the past 12 months, there is no charge to attend this group. Modest fees apply thereafter, and fees can be lowered or waived, if needed.The group will be led by Colleen Pulvermacher, MS, certified grief support specialist. Preregistration is required.
