November 25, 2018 Margaret Jane Bell, 83, of Rockbridge, died Sunday, November 25, 2018 at her home. She was born on December 9, 1934 in Richland County to Glen and Lorena (Helt) Holloway. She graduated from High School in Cazenovia, WI. Margaret worked on the family farm until she was married. She married Frederick L. Bell on June 6, 1953 Rockbridge, WI. Margaret raised her family and then traveled around the country in their camper, her friend Norma Pyfferoen often at her side. Margaret is survived by her husband Fred Bell of Rockbridge; sister Shirley (Raymond) Heried; brother Jess Holloway of Richland Center; five children: Linda (Don) Bladl, Fred Bell Jr., Vickie (Lorin) Bagby, Marvin (Shari) Bell, Lori (Jack) Vierck; seven grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; many great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and her favorite dog Mollie. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, brother Glen, and infant sister Judy Ann. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM at the Rockbridge School. The family requests memorials in Margaret’s name be made to GRACE. January 18, 2019 Sharon Durst, age 68, died Friday, January 18, 2019, at her home near Keyesville surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on August 14, 1950, in Reedsburg, WI the daughter of Albert and Mary H. (Grell) Christian. In 1968 she graduated from Weston high school. She married Peter G. Durst on February 8, 1969 at St. Mary’s Church in Keyesville. They dairy farmed on the same farm their entire married life. Sharon was an Outstanding Farm Woman of Richland County. She enjoyed flowers, mushroom hunting, crafts and her cows. Survivors include her husband, of 50 years Peter Durst of Keyesville; 6 children, Keith (Lori) Durst of Richland Center, Adam (Ann) Durst of Ithaca, Dan (Denise) Durst of Dodgeville, Marsha (Chad) Boelter of Markesan, Brad (Dana) Durst of Richland Center, Lisa (Mike) Benson of Richland Center; 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Lena Rockweiler, Lila (Larry) Craker, Emma Mittlestadt, Nora Schmidt, Jean Goodell,
Ann Ruhland, and Margie Remmick; sisters-in-law, Rosemary Christian and Phyllis Christian; father-inlaw, Jerry Durst; brothersin-law/sisters-in-law, John Durst, Joe (Kristi) Durst, Lawrence (Mary) Durst, Jerome (Sandy) Durst, David (Donna) Durst, Margaret (Butch) Rossing; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by grandson, Jordan Durst; her parents, Albert and Mary Christian; three brothers, Herman Jr., Raymond, Martin and sister, Ethel Grunert; mother-in-law, Florence Durst. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Keyesville. Fr. Nathan Thainase & Fr. She is preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband Melven G. Payne; 2nd husband, Larry MacDonald; son, Robert Payne; sister, Dorothy Schneider; and a brother, George Schneider.
