Parents in Partnership Hosting Presentations Parents in Partnership (PIP) are hosting presentations of Transitioning to life after high school. This is an opportunity for families to learn about the transition process for their youth with disabilities ages 14-21 in the areas of employment, education, living and health. Presentations will be hosted at Southwest Technical College, 1800 Bronson Blvd., Fennimore, WI, 53809. Food and resources, which will all be paid for with a DPI IDEA Discretionary Grant from the Wisconsin Statewide parents Educator Initiative, will accompany these presentations, making the sessions free for families. Spanish presentations and materials are also provided. These presentations will meet one Saturday a month for five months, starting October 5th, 2019 from 8:30am running until 3:00pm, and continuing November 9th, January 4th, February 8th, and March 14th. Transition PIP also assists parents to learn about planning life after high school, learn about valuable resources and adult services, network with other parents of disabled youth and explore ways to share information attained.
