The Lafayette County Highway Department will be accepting applications for one Highway Maintenance Worker position. This full-time position is responsible for performing highway maintenance and related construction work along with other duties as assigned by the Highway Commissioner. Experience in highway and road maintenance activities involving operating a variety of heavy equipment, and experience in maintenance and repair of highway equipment is desirable. QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school or high school equivalency; have a good driving record and possession of a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with air brakes, and combination vehicle endorsement; training in highway maintenance, road construction or equipment repair preferred.
