Dr. Richard Pestell is an acclaimed oncologist, cancer researcher, and father of three. After driving mining trucks in Australia to fund medical school, he competed in track and triathlons while studying. A former Director of the Lombardi Cancer Center and Georgetown faculty leader, he volunteered as President of INCTR, a global cancer nonprofit. Inspired by losing both parents to cancer, he supports education, museums, and cancer care. In his free time, he ocean swims, beach runs, and dedicates himself to patients and progress.
