Welcome to our May 2026,
![]()

Welcome to our May 2026,
Do you know that feeling when you step outside on a warm May morning and the world simply looks like it is rejoicing? The trees are full. The garden is loud with color. There is a hum in the air that feels almost like a promise being kept.
That is what this month feels like to me.
May is not about striving or starting over. It is not the anxious energy of a new year’s resolution or the tentative hope of early spring. May is something altogether different. May is the evidence. It is the moment the work shows up. The moment you look around at your life and realize, quietly, almost with surprise, that something you once only dreamed about is now simply true.
That is what it means to thrive.
I have been sitting with that word for weeks now. Thrive. I wanted to make sure we did it justice before I wrote a single word to you. Because I think it gets misused sometimes. We say it casually, oh, she’s thriving!, and picture someone who is busy, shining, posting wins online. But I believe real thriving is quieter than that, and far more personal.

Real thriving looks like waking up and feeling genuinely glad to be doing the work you are doing. It looks like a hard conversation you finally had, a boundary you finally held, a dream you finally stopped making excuses not to pursue. It looks like choosing yourself, not out of selfishness, but out of an understanding that you cannot pour from a dry well, and the world needs what you carry.
It also looks like community. And goodness, do we have one. The pages of this issue are filled with voices from people who are thriving in the most real, honest, hard-won ways, authors who finally told the truth of their lives on paper, leaders who rebuilt themselves from the ground up, visionaries who kept going long after the applause stopped. I want you to read their words slowly. Let them remind you of what is possible.
I am so deeply grateful you are here. You are not just a reader of this magazine. You are part of the reason it exists. Now go thrive. The world has been waiting.
Warmly,

"Thriving means taking up the space you were always meant to fill."
~ Brené Brown

Learn how to leverage your message, information, resources, and gifts to the world.

For many people, thriving is associated with external achievements. A successful career, financial security, recognition, or reaching certain milestones in life. While those accomplishments can feel rewarding, true thriving begins somewhere deeper. It begins within.
Thriving is the state of living in alignment with your inner wisdom, your authentic truth, and the energetic frequency that reflects your highest self. When we are connected to that inner guidance, life begins to flow differently. Decisions feel clearer. Opportunities appear more naturally. Relationships become healthier. Most importantly, we experience a deeper sense of peace and confidence.
Yet many people have been conditioned to look outside themselves for answers.
From a young age, we are taught to rely on authority figures to guide us. Teachers, parents, experts, and institutions often become the voices we trust more than our own intuition. Over time, this conditioning can weaken our ability to hear our inner guidance.

Even within spiritual communities, this pattern can continue.
People may look to psychics, intuitives, astrologers, or other practitioners to tell them what will happen in their lives. While some individuals may have genuine gifts, the danger lies in giving away your personal power.
Your truth does not live outside of you.

When someone else becomes the authority over your life decisions, you disconnect from the most reliable guidance system you have: your own inner knowing.
Energy plays a critical role in this dynamic.
Everything in the universe carries energy. Our thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and intentions emit energetic frequencies that influence what we experience. When we operate from fear, worry, insecurity, or self-doubt, our energetic frequency lowers. In that state, our perception of reality can become distorted.

If someone consults a psychic while operating from fear or anxiety, the information received may simply reflect that lower energetic frequency. Psychics tune into the energy present in the moment. If the energy they connect with is rooted in uncertainty or fear, the guidance they provide may mirror those same vibrations.
Without discernment, this can lead to unnecessary worry or decisions that do not align with our highest path.
This is why self-awareness and energetic responsibility are essential.
Thriving requires us to cultivate a strong connection with our own inner guidance before seeking advice from others. It asks us to pause, listen, and trust the subtle signals that arise from within.
Intuition often speaks quietly. It rarely demands attention. Instead, it arrives as a calm inner knowing, a feeling of resonance, or a gentle nudge guiding us toward a direction.
The more we honor that inner voice, the stronger it becomes.
Raising our energetic frequency supports this process. When we prioritize practices that elevate our energy, we become more attuned to the wisdom already within us.

Quiet reflection or meditation allows the mind to settle so inner guidance can emerge.
Spending time in nature recalibrates our energy and reconnects us to the rhythms of life.
Gratitude shifts our focus toward abundance and raises our emotional frequency.
Healthy boundaries protect our energy from influences that drain or distort it.
Energy-based practices such as feng shui, Reiki, breathwork, or mindful movement can help clear stagnant energy and support alignment with our highest vibration.
These practices are about creating the conditions that allow our natural clarity to surface.
Thriving also requires courage.
Trusting your inner guidance sometimes means choosing a path that others do not understand. It may mean declining advice that does not resonate. It may mean standing firmly in your truth even when external voices suggest something different.
But every time you honor your inner wisdom, you strengthen your self-trust.
And self-trust is one of the most powerful energies we can cultivate.

When we operate from that place of inner alignment, we naturally attract opportunities, relationships, and experiences that reflect our higher frequency. Life begins to unfold with greater synchronicity and flow.
Thriving is not about predicting the future or controlling every outcome. It is about cultivating the inner awareness that allows you to navigate life with clarity and confidence.
The answers you seek are not hidden somewhere outside of you.
They are already present within your energy, your intuition, and your inner wisdom.
When you quiet the external noise and listen deeply, you discover something powerful.
Your truth has been guiding you all along.
And when you trust it, you do not just survive life.
You truly thrive.

Allison C. Williams, Esq., Founder & Managing Partner, Williams Law Group, LLC
Founder, Business Strategist & CEO, Law Firm Mentor, LLC
Founder & CEO, Allison Speaks, LLC
Next on our authors' spotlight is Allison C. Williams, author of Crushing Chaos! International speaker, best selling author, and founder of two seven-figure companies,
Allison is the Founder of Williams Law Group, which she took from startup to a multi-million dollar business in only 3.5 years, and Law Firm Mentor, an international coaching business where she and her team provide business coaching services for Law Firm owners helping them grow their revenues, crush chaos in business and make more money.

Please provide us a 1-3 sentence description sharing about you/your organization, mission and purpose: Law Firm Mentor is a business coaching service for law firm CEOs. We help them to grow their revenues, crush chaos in business and make more money. In a nutshell, we help law firm owners transition from running a busy practice to leading a profitable business.
Share with us the title of your Book and a short 1-3 sentence description of your Book: Crushing Chaos: The Law Firm Owner’s Guide to More Money, More Free Time & Less Stress
Crushing Chaos is a strategic playbook for law firm owners who are growing fast but feeling overwhelmed. It delivers a clear, actionable framework to systematize operations, strengthen leadership, and scale revenue without increasing stress. If your firm is expanding but still feels chaotic, this book shows you how to fix the structure and unlock sustainable growth.

What inspired you to write your book?
Having helped thousands of lawyers grow and scale law firms, I began to see patterns. Growth is less about the tactics applied and more about the strategic approach employed consistently through the different sectors of a business. I wanted to share that mindset, strategy and tactical guidance to law firm owners ready to scale their companies.
Describe something our readers today can look forward to discovering in your book.
The book provides the framework, but it also provides step by step instruction. So often, business books fall into either category – mindset with no strategy, or strategy with no real tactics. This book combines all three cohesively so that the law firm owner walks away with the “how to” that is so often lacking in this genre of education. Further, each functional area of business – Marketing, Sales, Finance, People and Systems – contains a diagnostic tool to help law firm owners know exactly where they need to focus their attention to achieve results.
What are 1-3 tips you can give our reader to help them step forward in their life powerfully?
1. Getting started is the easy part; staying the course is what takes courage. 2. Chaos is the most common operating system – it’s just not a very good one. In order to achieve predictable, reliable results in business, you need to remove the chaos and create the system needed to act faster and take calculated risks in the direction of your goals.
3. The biggest barrier to your success is you. Hence, the best investment you will ever make is the investment you make in yourself.

Share something you are passionate about: I am passionate about systematizing. It has been the key to unlocking success, abundance and joy in my life and in every life I have influenced. Without a system, success is a crapshoot.
What are some ways you are helping to bring this forward in the world?
In Law Firm Mentor, I help law firm owners to systematize their success.

In Allison Speaks, my motivational speaking consultancy, I help women entrepreneurs deploy the systems approach to life and leadership.
Share something you have overcome or a success story with us.
Growing my law firm was REALLY challenging. I had no problem attracting clients. I had roughly a $600,000 book of business when I left my employment and started my law firm. But, I had “too much business”. I had cases in multiple counties up and down the state of New Jersey. I gave notice to my employer with a plan – then, after I gave notice, my secretary who was slated to leave with me backed out, claiming she didn’t want to work that hard again (she had already set up a law practice for her previous employer and knew what would be involved). I hired many support staff – each more incompetent than the last – before I finally decided I’d be my own support staff, lawyer full time and kick start my business.
STUPID decision! Those 70-hour work weeks became 90-hour work weeks real soon, and after several weeks of this, I fell asleep driving and almost hit a guardrail. I was mentally, physically and psychologically exhausted. But, that guardrail moment was life changing for me, as it made me realize that working harder was not working. So, I had an epiphany – I didn’t need to work more in the chaos I had created; I needed to crush chaos. And so I did. Step by step, day by day, I focused on creating a system for everything. Very soon, I had created a scalable system that made the business run smoothly and scale time and profit contemporaneously.
What does thriving mean to you?
Thriving means more than arriving at the destination. It truly means engineering the journey in a way that creates pleasure in life while on the journey to success. Thus, one should not only focus on the destination, but how the journey will unfold, and the best of any journey is derived from the system for success that achieves growth.
What tip or piece of advice can you share with our reader today to empower them to SHINE?
Every person has the ability to scale. The question is not whether – but how. Search for the how, presupposing that the answer exists, and you’ll be amazed at how readily the answer shows up for you.

Please share one or two quotes that you find impactful. These quotes can be from you or from someone else as long as they are powerful and moving! “You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.”
~ James Clear

Any final thought, share, or idea that you would like to share with our readers today?
Chaos gets blamed on people, marketing, or time – but that’s not the real issue. Chaos is structural. It shows up when your business has outgrown the systems designed to support it. And structure is a leadership decision. The moment you stop reacting to problems and start building a firm that can actually handle its own growth, everything shifts your team performs better, your decisions get clearer, and your business becomes scalable by design.

BY: SHERRY LYNN CAMPBELL

When I was younger, and voraciously hungry for knowledge (especially what words meant and why?), my favorite places “to chow down” were our family copies of the Britannica Encyclopedias, the public library, the school library, and the Webster Dictionary. Yes, I was that geeky student not only reading English dictionaries, but Spanish and French ones too. Now, I play word games that tease my brain and help me continue to learn about words.
So when I learned the theme for the May edition of RHG Magazine would be about “How to overcome challenges and not just survive, but Thrive,” I decided that the dictionary was a good place to start for defining the word, Thrive. I already knew what thriving meant to me, but it’s nice to know how it lined up with an official definition.
“Thrive means to grow vigorously, prosper, flourish or progress towards a goal, often applied to businesses, plants or personal development. It indicates succeeding, being fortunate, or developing strongly, especially under specific conditions.” Possible synonyms for the word thrive are, but not limited to, flourish prosper succeed boom, develop, grow, excel, triumph, etc. I think you st.

This word, in particular, reminded me of my time as a Nature Education Docent at a local historical house and garden, and estate property named Filoli. The Filoli estate sits along the San Andreas fault at the base of the Santa Cruz Mountain range. Moving from classroom teacher to outdoor education docent with elementary-aged school students on field trips, was an easy adjustment for me to make. With this one choice in my personal life, I understood physically what thriving to take these elementary-aged students, some d” (other than in a city park), actually into a forested wilderness, will always be a prized memory in my life.

The designed program would begin with telling the story and the history of the people and place in front of the house, then continuing past the farm fields, and horse stables before we entered into the Riparian Zone and then eventually entered into the redwood forest and creek trail. Leaving the familiar cityscapes and cultivated country estate behind and moving into the wild of the forest left some students a little fearful. Their fears eased as the storytelling that had began in front of the house and continuing along the way into the forest helped to connect the students with a shared history of those who had come before them. Curiosity and wonder grabbed their attention, another way to thrive.
We talked about how animals and trees and plants that lived in the forest had been alive for hundreds of years, and that it wasn’t always easy. Unfortunate things happened in the forest, like a redwood tree getting struck by lightning and burning up. What a surprise it was to the students that the tree didn’t give up just because it had been hit by lightning and burned to almost nothing of its former grand self. It chose to live, and to survive, made adaptations that would help it and then thrived. In the forest, I was able to clearly show how Nature finds a way. The children walked away from this experience with new insights about possibilities and the opportunities of change. I think that is another way to thrive.
Life throws all of us curve balls, and sometimes lightning bolts. We have a choice. We can choose to make decisions over and over in lots of areas of our own personal lives that can help us to grow, develop, flourish and move into a state of being successful, healthy and strong.
Now, don’t think that I am saying any of this is easy. It took the redwood tree millions of years of evolution to make its adaptations that helped it become fire retardant, and thousands of years to develop its root system that protects it, and to learn how to re-grow after a devastating event. But each of us can look at our own lives, and choose to make tiny changes that can help us feel better about ourselves. For example, we can alter our communication styles to have better communication and listening skills; reach outside of ourselves to feel more connected to community; watch, read, or listen to media programs that enrich our lives, etc.

What thriving means to me personally, is loving who I am - all of me, warts and all. I understand, and embrace, that I am a work in progress and that I can choose to make changes that benefit, or I can wait for the lightning to strike and then have fewer preferable options.

We, all of us collectively, are on our own journeys, but that doesn’t mean we are alone. Redwood trees grow in family units, their root system reaches out and connects to other trees in the forest, and they support each other.
I think that this magazine is all about supporting each other. From my storyteller’s heart to you, I wish you all the thriving you can think of.

Each month I love to give you something to sit with. Not homework, I promise but an invitation. A few questions to carry with you through the weeks ahead, to return to on a quiet morning or a slow afternoon when you have a little space to think.
This month, our theme is Thrive. And these prompts are designed to help you discover where you are already doing it, and where, with a little more intention and self-permission, you could do even more.
Find a comfortable spot. Brew something you love. And explore:
 Your Evidence of Thriving:
Look back over the past six months with curiosity, not judgment. Where did you show up for yourself in a way that surprised even you? Write those wins down. They matter more than you know.

 The Drain vs. The Fuel:
What is genuinely lighting you up right now, and what is quietly draining you? You don't have to fix it all today. But naming it honestly is where transformation begins.
 The Dream Still Waiting:
What is the one thing you keep putting off, the book, the business, the conversation, the boundary? What is one small step you could take toward it this month, not someday, but now?
Thriving is not just about what you do. It is about who you are in the process. One year from now, how do you want to have shown up, for yourself, for the people you love, for the work you are called to?
Who is truly in your corner, cheering you on and telling you the truth?
Invest in those relationships this month. And ask yourself: who needs you to be that person for them right now?
May these questions open something in you. May they lead you somewhere honest, somewhere hopeful, and somewhere beautifully yours.
From all of us at RHG Media Productions, we wish you a season of vibrant thriving and extraordinary impact.

I was referred to Rebecca for support with my book launch by a trusted professional colleague who she had helped reached Amazon #1 Bestseller twice before, so I was reasonably assured I’d have a good experience. Well, that’s QUITE the understatement. Rebecca and her team knocked my socks off! They provided strategic advice, guidance, stepby-step action items and clear direction from the beginning of our relationship. As we approached our publication date, my book formatter flaked on me, so at the last minute I needed a resource. Rebecca came through with her contacts in publishing and was able to get my ebook turned around in no time. We had the exact social media and email copy to generate buzz for the book, on top of getting the book sales needed to reach #1 International Bestseller on day #2 of our launch! It feels AMAZING to be a best-selling author, and I now have the tools I need to propel my business further success through the awareness and authority created by the book’s rapid success. I cannot recommend Rebecca and her team highly enough! They are truly a game-changer.

Let’s give the spotlight to another outstanding author, Sherry Lynn Campbell, founder of WonderEddy and the writer of M is for Mother & F is for Father!
Sherry Lynn Campbell is a #1 International bestselling novelist, storyteller and children’s book author and her love of storytelling and song-making led to her first three books for early childhood-aged children and their familie to enjoy.
Please provide us a 1-3 sentence description sharing about you/your organization, mission and purpose: WonderEddy is all about creating an “eddy-lution” of lov My purpose of telling stories and song-making is my hear reaching out to others to lift them up and encourage the spread of love, joy and playfulness throughout the lives o all I can reach. I hope to remind others that there is everyday magic all around us in the ordinary moments of shared time.

Share with us the title of your Book and a short 1-3 sentence description of your Book:

M is for Mother:
It all started from a song… This is a book that celebrates the moments of motherhood through song and art that illustrates the ways in which mothers touch our hearts through the journey of childhood. This book is the first in a series of books which celebrates the love and bonds created through daily living. It begins with the birth of this mother’s first child, a daughter. Each page captures memories which illuminate the joys of learning and growing from birth through elementary school.

This is the second book in a series that celebrates the moments of fatherhood through song and art that illustrates the ways in which fathers touch our hearts through the journey of childhood. This book celebrates the love and bonds created through daily living. It begins with the birth of a little brother. Each page captures memories which illuminate the joys of learning and growing and discovery from birth through elementary school.
These two books are meant to grow with your child and family: from parent to child, child to self, older sibling to younger sibling, and sheet music is included for children, and parents to sing-a-long together.
What inspired you to write your book?
I was challenged to write a new song for the children of a local Montessori school to sing for their mothers at the Mother’s Day program. After seeing it come to life with the children singing it, I thought to myself, “This would be a great book.”
Describe something our readers today can look forward to discovering in your book.
Hopefully, these books will bring back memories and reminders to the parent reading it to their child of the loving bonds they created with each of their own parents, all the while creating new and meaningful memories with their own child.
What are 1-3 tips you can give our reader to help them step forward in their life powerfully?
Parenthood matters. Every parent wants the very best for their child. Sometimes parents can forget that the very best they can give to their child is simply the time they spend together…love grows there.
Share something you are passionate about: Children. Family. Reading and music. These could each be taken as very separate subjects, but I see it as time together because of how I grew up. There was always music in the house for cooking, chores or just listening pleasure. There was reading to each other and alone time, and the sharing of subject matter at the dinner table. Each of these all interwoven into the great tapestry of storytelling which becomes one’s life.

What are some ways you are helping to bring this forward in the world?
Through my books, I hope to touch hearts that reach out to touch others. These books were created from a song I wrote for preschool-aged children to sing, but the books were created to generate funds for children’s hospitals and organizations that help families and children in crisis. Life is not always a smooth path, but I believe in hope and reaching out to others and in empowering organizations that can make a real and lasting difference.
Share something you have overcome or a success story with us. I have overcome my fear of being seen and heard. I want to let my light shine as brightly as it can and live from my heart every day in every way. My success story is that this book is now being released in its 10 Year Anniversary Edition. This book is also a wonderful card alternative to let parents of any age know how they have touched our lives. This 10 Year Anniversary Edition includes new content sharing information on the importance of reading and singing.
What does thriving mean to you?
It means loving who I am with my whole heart. Thriving means to me always looking for what works, and letting go of what doesn’t. It is about embracing change instead of fearing it.
What tip or piece of advice can you share with our reader today to empower them to SHINE?
I would say, look at yourself in the mirror. Really look at yourself and say, “Hello.” And, then, looking into your own eyes tell yourself, “I love you.” That’s a really great way to start believing in your truth.
Please share one or two quotes that you find impactful. These quotes can be from you or from someone else as long as they are powerful and moving!

c. Inhale for a count of 4, imagining you’re breathing that color into your chest.
d. Hold for a count of 4.
e. Exhale for a count of 6–8, imagining heavy energy leaving your body.
f. Repeat for 5–10 breaths.
Why it works:
Combining breath with color imagery gives your mind a gentle focus and signals safety to your nervous system.
3. Create More Harmony Through Better Communication & Conflict Repair.
Color Repair Signals
Why it works:
Color gives your nervous system a fast “safety language.” Instead of pushing through stress (or shutting down), you create a clear pause-and-repair pathway so you feel heard, stay connected, and restore harmony faster.
What to do:
a. Before the conversation escalates, choose a simple “color signal” to name what’s happening:
Green: “I’m okay let’s talk.”
Yellow: “I’m getting overwhelmed please slow down.”
Red: “I need a break I will come back at (time).”
b. When a color is said, pause and follow the matching action:
Green: keep talking one topic at a time, kind tone.
Yellow: slow down lower voices, take 3 slow breaths together.
Red: reset step away, get water, breathe, take a short walk.
c. When you come back, use this 2-sentence repair: “The story I started telling myself was . ” “What I really need is . ”
d. End with one connection action: a hug, a hand-hold, an apology, gratitude, or a clear next step.

My teachings and offerings as The Mind Body Medicine Woman come in many forms from online courses, certifications, live retreats, and continuous content creation including speaking, sharing, and mentorship.
Share something you have overcome or a success story with us. I literally grew up believing I was not smart. It wasn’t until adulthood and a whole lot of self-development (and therapy) that I realized I am incredibly intelligent and have the ability to ‘be smart’ at anything I put my heart into. And I have learned that that is something that is innate in all of us!
What does thriving mean to you?
I have spent most of my life living in beautiful Northern Utah in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. It is here that I continue to find my zeal for life with my three adult children (and their spouses), my 8 adorable grandbabies, and my loving husband of 38 years. When I’m not passionately working on another one of my latest business creations, I love spending time with my family and friends, studying holistic health, practicing yoga, flower gardening, paddle boarding, and soaking up the great outdoors.

May brings with it a tender bouquet of memories and traditions school picnics spread across sun-drenched lawns, summer vacation plans dancing just over the horizon, and graduation ceremonies filled with bittersweet pride. And, of course, there is Mother’s Day a day dedicated to the women who give and give and give. But here’s something we don’t talk about enough: what if this May you mothered yourself?
You don’t have to have an occasion to treat yourself breakfast in bed or a sweetly wrapped gift. It’s time to pamper yourself. You don’t have to wait for someone else to see your worth you can honor it right now. With a gentle spirit, you can begin the beautiful and empowering practice of self-mothering.

Start small. The idea of mothering yourself can feel foreign at first—especially if you’re someone who’s spent most of your life tending to others. That’s why journaling can be a soft, accessible first step. Each time you open your journal, you’re making a declaration: I matter. My story matters. My feelings are worth holding.
Try beginning each morning with a short journaling session…five minutes can produce powerful results. Light a candle, pour a cup of tea, and ask yourself: How do I feel today really? What does my soul need me to know in this moment? What would make me feel safe, seen, and supported?
This isn’t about writing beautifully. It’s about writing honestly. As you write, you may be surprised by how much of your inner landscape reveals itself longings you’ve silenced, fatigue you’ve brushed aside, sparks of joy waiting to be reignited.

Journaling isn’t just reflection. It’s an opportunity to have a conversation with yourself on the page. It’s a form of re-parenting, of giving your inner child a space to be heard. And as you listen, you learn to love yourself more fully.
My first journals as an 11-year-old were filled with poetry that inspired me, who was cute on TV last night and my dreams for my future. While the subject matter has expanded considerably these days, the importance of my journaling has never diminished. Everything I have ever shared publicly whether delivered from stage or published in writing, all began within the pages of my journal.
Mothering yourself doesn’t only mean resting and tending to your needs—it also means allowing joy, inspiration, and play back into your life. Think of all the ways mothers nurture their children’s creativity: finger paints, bedtime stories, kitchen dance parties. What if you gave yourself that same freedom?
Take time to begin right now to give yourself permission to indulge your creative spirit. You don’t need an elaborate art studio or perfect conditions. A notebook and pen. A quiet afternoon. Some music and movement. A pot of soil waiting for seeds. Creativity doesn’t have to be big to be transformative.

Try this prompt in your journal: If I could spend a day doing anything—just for fun— what would it be?
Then, schedule time—yes, actually put it on your calendar—to do one of those things. And make it non-negotiable. Keep that appointment with your creativity. This is not frivolous. It’s medicine. Creativity is how we reconnect with parts of ourselves we’ve long buried under obligation and routine. It reminds us that we are more than what we produce—we are beings of wonder and possibility.
When we feel burned out or unseen, inspiration can feel elusive. Often, it’s hiding in plain sight. Look to nature’s blooming—mirroring the life we’re being invited to reclaim. Notice how the trees hold their blossoms. How the birds sing without apology. How the sun shows up every morning, without needing permission.

Let the outside world remind you of what’s possible inside.

Make it a practice to find one thing each day that nd write it down. A phrase in a book. A kind gesture from a stranger. The color of the sky. These small sparks of beauty add up—and suddenly, your life starts to shimmer with hope again.
For many of us, the idea of nurturing ourselves feels uncomfortable. It’s unfortunate that we women have been conditioned to believe that care should only flow outward. But the truth is: the more deeply you learn to care for yourself, the more genuinely you can show up for others.
Think of self-mothering as an investment in your own inner ecosystem. Every act of compassion, every moment of rest, every spark of inspiration—you are replenishing what the world takes.
You don’t need to wait for anyone to hand you flowers. Go buy the bouquet yourself. Place it in a vase where you’ll see it each morning. Let it be a symbol: I am worthy of beauty. I am worthy of care.
When you mother yourself—when you journal your way back to truth, create just because it brings you joy, allow yourself to be inspired—you’re telling the world that you refuse to be overlooked, even by yourself.

Today, be the mother you may have always needed. Be the mother your current self needs most.
Because you are the gift.
And the more you mother yourself, the more you will begin to bloom—not just for a day in May, but for a lifetime.
If you need a more structured nudge, book a Soul Story Activation Session so that we can talk about how writing opens you up to discovering self-care and soul-deep restoration. You’ll learn simple tips for carving out time to do what you love—and begin to see that mothering yourself isn’t selfish. It’s foundational.
