Summer is a season of radiance. The sun lingers longer, nature is in full expression, and everything feels more alive. To become a Summer Star in your own life and career is to embody that same energy. It is about choosing to shine from within and aligning your emotional state with the life you want to create.
At the center of this transformation is one powerful concept: your frequency.

Everything in the universe is energy, and all energy vibrates. This includes your thoughts, your emotions, your body, and even your environment. Scientifically, we know the human body operates through electrical and electromagnetic activity, from brain waves to heart rhythms.
While emotions are not scientifically measured in exact hertz, many consciousness models, including Dr. David Hawkins’ Map of Consciousness, illustrate a meaningful spectrum. Lower emotional states such as shame, fear, and anger are associated with contraction, stress, and survival. Higher emotional states such as love, joy, and gratitude are expansive and supportive of abundance, clarity, and growth.
You can feel this difference in your body. Lower frequency emotions feel heavy, tight, and draining. Higher frequency emotions feel lighter, open, and energizing. Your body is always giving you feedback.
Your Emotional State Shapes Your Reality
Your frequency is not just something you feel. It is something you broadcast.

Your frequency is not just something you feel. It is something you broadcast.
The Law of Attraction teaches that like attracts You draw in experiences, people, and opportun that match your emotional state. When you are focused on fear, worry, or bitterness, you attra more situations that reflect those feelings.
I experienced this firsthand.

There was a period in my life when I was living in fear, especially around relationships. One of my deepest fears was abandonment. Without realizing it, I was holding that fear constantly, and my experiences began to mirror it. I stayed in connections out of fear instead of truth, and I magnetically attracted situations that reinforced what I was afraid of.
Once I recognized the pattern, everything began to shift.
I made a conscious decision to release the fear and focus on my own stability and well-being. I realized that being alone felt far better than being with people who did not have my best interests at heart. That shift moved me from fear into self-

As my internal state changed, so did my external reality. My relationships became healthier, and the situations that once reflected my fears began to positively shift.
Living at a higher frequency does not mean avoiding difficult emotions. You are meant to feel your feelings.
ses, allow it to move through your body. nt. This is part of the human experience.

Once the emotional wave has passed, you have the power to shift your focus. You can ask yourself, “What is the solution? What can I learn? What would feel better right now?”
You move from being stuck in reaction to becoming intentional in creation
Joy is one of the most powerful high frequency states you can access. It is not something you wait for. It is something you choose.
Doing what makes you happy is not a distraction from success. It can be the pathway to it.
When you are in joy, your nervous system relaxes, your mind becomes more creative, and your energy e decisions and attract people and opportunities that al
Joy also acts as guidance. What lights you up is not random. It is pointing you toward your purpose.

Even small moments matter. Gratitude, laughter, music, time in nature, meaningful connection. These are all ways you elevate your frequency and shift your state.
When you commit to maintaining a higher frequency, you begin to live differently. You focus on solutions instead of problems. Your mind changes from reaction to creation.
When your thoughts, emotions, and actions are aligned with higher frequencies like joy, gratitude, and confidence, you naturally attract success and prosperity.

Let’s shine the spotlight to Ethan King, a bestselling author, TEDx speaker, and entrepreneur who teaches business owners how to deploy AI digital employees so they can reclaim their time and live the life they actually want.
Share with us a 1-3 sentence description sharing about you/your organization, mission and purpose.
Ethan King helps non-technical business owners turn AI from a threat into their biggest advantage. Long before AI was a buzzword, he used automation to grow traditional, non-tech brands like stuff4GREEKS and Zeus' Closet, and now he teaches thousands of leaders to deploy digital employees that run their businesses around the clock. His mission is simple and bold: help you automate what drains you, focus on what matters most, and build a life where you can truly have it all.
Share with us the title of your Book and a short 1-3 sentence description of your Book.
Done. Let A.I. Do Your Work So You Can Live Your Life. It's a step-by-step guide to building artificial intelligence agents that run your business around the clock. No coding needed. If you can send a text message, you can build a team of digital employees that never sleep, never call in sick, and never let an important task fall through the cracks.
What inspired you to write your book?

I've been teaching AI for a while now, but AI evolved fast from chatting to actually doing. I remember the first time I delegated a task to an AI agent, a task my human assistant had dropped the ball on, and a minute later it replied: "Done." I sat there staring at the screen, half amazed, half not believing it.

So I went and checked. It had actually done the thing. Accurately. In my voice. A task that would have taken a human several days to complete. That was the moment I knew everything had changed. I call it the “Done” moment. That single word became the title because I want everyone to experience that feeling.
Describe something our readers today can look forward to discovering in your book.
I teach a framework called The 6 Levels of AI Autonomy, and I explain this through a story from my childhood. When I was ten, my mom moved our family to West Africa for the Peace Corps. I watched villagers wash their clothes by hand in the Niger River every morning. In contrast, in modern society we just toss laundry in a machine and walk away. This frees up our time to do something else while the machine is handling the repetitive task of washing clothes. Most of us still run our businesses the old way, doing repetitive tasks manually. This book shows you how easy it is to build your own washing machines, and then build digital people who run those machines for you, all using just plain English.
What are 1-3 tips you can give our reader to help them step forward in their life powerfully?
Don't fear AI. Bully the bully. If it feels like a threat, learn it and make it serve you.
Train AI like you'd train a new hire. Give it your story, your voice, your goals before you give it tasks. When AI makes a mistake, don't quit on it. You wouldn't fire a human employee on day one over one mistake. Keep training it. It gets better and better, until eventually it can do the work 95% on its own.
Share something you are passionate about: Freedom. People think Done. is a tech book or a business book. It's not. It's a freedom book. I'm passionate about helping people get their time back so they can spend it on what only they can do. Be with family. Create. Connect. Let the machines wash the clothes so we can be more human, not less.

What are some ways you are helping to bring this forward in the world? I travel the world delivering hands-on AI workshops where business owners build their first digital employees live, right there in the room. I write books that break down the complex into plain English. And I co-host the King Moves podcast where we explore AI, leadership, and the future of work. My goal in every room is the same: get people from "AI is coming for my job" to "AI just gave me my life back." Because that's really the whole mission, walking people out of fear and into their power.
Share something you have overcome or a success story with us. Years ago, my back was against the wall. A legal battle had my business on the edge, and I had a choice: give up and lose everything, or fight and keep it alive. I chose to fight. That's when I taught myself marketing automation. This was 15 years ago, before automation and AI were cool. We adopted an automation-first mindset across the whole company and doubled our revenue with half the staff. That season : systems beat strugg

Thriving m balance is boring and it implies one thing has to drop for another to rise. I think of it like an airplane wing. It flexes, it adjusts, it moves with the turbulence. Thriving is having the freedom and the systems in place to give your full energy to the things that matter most, without dropping the rest.
Please share one or two quotes that you find impactful. These quotes can be from you or from someone else as long as they are powerful and moving!
“Automation applied to an inefficient operation will magnify the inefficiency.”
~ Bill Gates

What tip or piece of advice can you share with our reader today to empower them to SHINE?
Take the leap before you feel ready. When I was eight, a swimming instructor threw me in the water without warning. I panicked, flailed, screamed at him. He just pointed and said, "Look at what you're doing. You're swimming." I was. The capability was already in me. It is in you too. Stop waiting to feel ready. Get in the water.
Any final thought, share, or idea that you would like to share with our readers today?
You are not late. You are early. Out of 8 billion people, only a tiny fraction are using AI the way this book teaches. The door is open right now, but it won't stay open forever. Now is your opportunity to gain a competitive advantage. Spend thirty minutes a day applying the principles in this book, and soon you'll be in the top 1% of AI users in the world. And here's the part most people miss: all roads lead to more human connection, not less. The more ubiquitous AI becomes, the more we'll treasure the things that make us uniquely human. So let the machines handle the busywork. Use these tools to collapse time and achieve your goals faster than you could ever imagine. Then go live the life you've been too busy to enjoy.

Up next under the spotlight is John A. Gullo, the extraordinary author of Extraordinary Adventures of an Ordinary Man, and also lived the American Dream, coming from nothing and built a very active foundation
Please provide us a 1-3 sentence description sharing about you/your organization, mission and purpose: I'm a trustee of the American Dream Foundation. We produce promotional videos for nonprofits and fund charities that work with underprivileged youth and build communities.
Share with us the title of your Book and a short 1-3 sentence description of your Book: Extraordinary Adventures of an Ordinary Man: In writing this book I offer the many life lessons lived in each chapter of my life. My hope is that those who read it, will gain wisdom and avoid the learning curve of making mistakes.
What inspired you to write your book?

I have been active in many organizations and have always been told by my friends and colleagues that I should write my life story and experiences. I gave a speech to 800 IRS employees on “the power of one”. I shared the video of that speech with a publisher and she encouraged me to write the book.
Describe something our readers today can look forward to discovering in your book.
The value of honesty and earning the respect of others.
What are 1-3 tips you can give our reader to help them step forward in their life powerfully?
1. The next time you're stressing, ask yourself, is it worth dying for? Stress causes heart attacks.
2. Don't dwell on the past. Treat every day like it's the first day of the rest of your life.

3. Don't waste time in anger. It does not bring you any pleasure, you get more with honey than you do with vinegar.
Share something you are passionate about: I love the sport of pickleball, at 83 you can't let th old man in. This sport keeps you active and it's a lot more exciting than the treadmill. It is the mos social game ever invented, I tell everyone “Live to play, play to live”.
What are some ways you are helping to bring this forward in the world?
I help nonprofits get started and reach their goal Then, I show them how to manage and sustain th organizations both financially and operationally.

Share something you have overcome or a success story with us. Ogden, UT never had a 4th of July celebration. I created HotRockn4th. A charity event, run and managed by nonprofits. An event of the people, by the people and for the people, raising over $750,000, for partner charities who ran the event. Unfortunately, due to the city politics it came to an end. Over 750 people gave up their holiday to participate and raise money for many charities that they supported.
What does thriving mean to you?
Living the golden rule, helping and giving to others. I believe my success was given to me by God and he will judge me based on what I do with the talents he's given me.
What tip or piece of advice can you share with our reader today to empower them to SHINE?
In my book I have a quote that I heard from a famous television person. “It takes the same amount of energy to laugh as it does to cry, the choice is yours”. Treat each day like it's your first not your last, your life is full of opportunities, take action!

The six decades that my life overlapped with his were precious and are cherished.

This new season of Summertime was always my father’s favorite. Father’s Day this year fell on the Summer Solstice, but I don’t think the proximity of summertime to a day that celebrates fathers was his reason to love this season best. I think he had a deeper reason. He loved being a dad. He loved seeing his family grow and change. And he was present with each of his children as we each journeyed through the seasons of our life from childhood to adulthood. He was overjoyed when he became a grandfather, called Papa. My son wa second grandson was only six months later. He ended u

I find myself reflecting on all the ways my father lit up a room: his smile, his eyes, his engaging greetings, his eagerness to share stories which all amounted to his love of life.
And that brings me back to all of you here reading, to think about all the ways each of us can shine in our own lives here on earth. My first thought about a way to shine is kindness. Another one is showing and having genuine interest in others. As my thoughts keep rolling in, those thoughts become linked with ideas about actions that I can take. Actions that are encouraging me to be the very best version of myself by offering kindness to those I meet along the way in the journey of my life. I wonder where your th

I decided not to add a video with this submission, because frankly I wasn’t sure I could get through it without tearing up. But if you are so inclined to listen to a song I want to share, that was mine and my Dad’s song - definitely an oldie & goodie - you can find this song on most of your favorite music streaming services. This song is written from a son’s perspective, but for me it captured the essence of how I felt growing up with this man as my father. My dad was always bringing home antiques from his work as well as clocks and musical boxes and records. I found this song in a stack of really old 45’s in my early teens, and then it became our song. I hope you enjoy listening.
Words from the song: My Dad by Paul Petersen

Each month, I love to give you something to sit with. Not homework, I promise, but an invitation. A few questions to carry with you through the weeks ahead, to return to when the sunlight lingers a little longer, the evening feels a little softer, and your heart has room to listen.
This month’s theme, Summer Star, is an invitation to remember the light you carry.
Shining is not about perfection, fame, or being the loudest voice in the room. It is about allowing your message, your story, and your purpose to be seen in a way that serves others.
As you move through this season, I invite you to reflect:
What part of your story or message is ready to shine more brightly?
Where have you been dimming your light when you are being called to share it?
What brave step can you take this month toward greater visibility?
Who has helped you shine, and who can you encourage in return?
Your voice matters. Your story matters. Your message matters.
You do not have to wait for the perfect moment to shine. Begin where you are, with what you have, and with the light that is already within you.
Shine brightly. Someone may be waiting for the light only you can bring.

Thirteen years ago I published my first book. There is a reason for the hiatus between the first one and the second one and the reason was not content. Serendipitously, I was introduced to an experienced publisher with a proven record and a practical process. The process part perhaps resonated more with me than may be the case with others as this is a big part of what I do professionally. Book publishing from my perspective is a complex project management deliverable, replete with critical path steps and deadlines. Robust processes are analogous to great software in that the source code is sacred but the functionality is configurable. To be clear, RHG’s configurability in deference to our target market was essential to the successful launch of Profit Rainmaking: 9 Universal Truths to Achieve Loyal Customers, Exceptional Operations, and Inspired Teams. Indeed, the measurable outcome was #1 International Best-Selling Status within 16 hours of launch! Under the hood, that meant reaching Best Selling Status in the US, Canada, and Australia for a total of 64 Best Selling Categories, including 11 of them ranking #1! RHG delivered. Selah!

Let’s give the spotlight to the two outstanding authors of Raising Teens Who Talk to You, Cecilia and Jason Hilkey!
Jason and Cecilia help parents ditch the time-outs, punishments, and "toughen up" advice in favor of empathy, connection, and win-win limits an approach they stumbled through ourselves and now share with hundreds of thousands of people across more than 200 countries.
Please provide us a 1-3 sentence description sharing about you/your organization, mission and purpose:
We help parents communicate with their kids to avoid meltdowns and power struggles the unconventional way, with time-ins instead of time-outs, win-win limits instead of punishment, and empathy instead of "toughen up." We know parenting differently is hard, because most of us weren't raised this way or prepared for the emotional demands, and we've stumbled through it ourselves (just ask our kids). But what we've learned along the way now reaches hundreds of thousands of people across more than 200 countries.

Share with us the title of your Book and a short 1-3 sentence description of your Book:
Raising Teens Who Talk to You: A Connected Parenting Approach to Adolescence, you used to be their favorite person now you get one-word answers, slammed doors, and the feeling that you're getting it all wrong. But adolescence isn't a crisis to manage; it's a relationship to navigate, and the connection you're afraid of losing is still within reach. In Raising Teens Who Talk to You, more than 35 therapists, coaches, psychologists, and parents share evidence-based strategies and hard-won wisdom for shifting from control to connection, staying grounded when emotions run high, and having the hard conversations without shutting your teen down.

red you to write your book?
created this book and gathered the of authors together because we had our es as parents, especially when our kids ns. Even though we’ve created Happily upport parents worldwide, even though over 275 interviews of parenting authors, herapists, and researchers, and even though orted thousands of families, it doesn’t mean n teens were immune to the challenges of . For us, those years were messy; we didn’t have as much support as we wanted, and we couldn’t find many current books or resources about raising teens. We attempted to be self-compassionate, but we also blamed ourselves for our child’s struggles. We felt alone and ashamed. In our eyes, because our kids struggled, we had failed. Our wish for you is that your journey is a little smoother than ours was.
Describe something our readers today can look forward to discovering in your book. Boy, that’s hard because there’s just so much. Maybe how they’ll discover how to have ongoing, shame-free conversations about sex, teen marijuana dependency, and smartphones. Each chapter in that section pairs honest information with a connected, non-panicked approach to calm your anxiety, normalize the struggle that many families are having right now, and give you helpful advice for addressing these issues.
What are 1-3 tips you can give our reader to help them step forward in their life powerfully?
Regulate yourself first. Before you can show up for your teen, do your own inner work. Your most powerful parenting tools aren't rules or consequences they're your own self-awareness and your ability to stay calm when emotions run high.
Lead with connection, not control. Your influence depends far more on your relationship with your teen than on any rule or adult-imposed consequence. When the old tools stop working, shift from managing behavior to building genuine connection listen without jumping in with unsolicited advice, and get curious instead.
Repair beats perfection. You don't have to parent flawlessly. When you mess up, you can reconnect and repair it's never too late.

Share something you are passionate about:
We’re passionate about making parents of teens feel less alone and less ashamed.
What are some ways you are helping to bring this forward in the world?
The book itself Raising Teens Who Talk to You, a 36-chapter parenting anthology built around the research-backed idea that the parent-teen relationship matters more than rules or consequences. A diverse community of voices We’ve gathered therapists, psychologists, coaches, educators, and parents to each contribute a short chapter in their own voice, so the book feels like a caring community rather than a single expert's manual.
Happily Family Our broader platform created to support parents worldwide.
275+ interviews Conversations with parenting authors, speakers, therapists, and researchers, building a deep base of expertise we draw from. Direct family support We've supported thousands of families through our work over the years.
Share something you have overcome or a success story with us. Our own teen's struggle with traditional high school. We share in the book that one of our teens couldn't figure out how to make high school work, despite a lot of effort, conversation, and trying different solutions. Rather than forcing the conventional path, we let our teen choose an outside-the-box route—getting a GED and going to work instead. The payoff came later: as a young adult, on their own terms, that teen has now started college.
What does thriving mean to you?
Thriving doesn't look like perfection it looks like the ability to stay regulated, resist the urge to fix or control, and repair when we mess up. We openly admit we still slip into advice-giving and say things we regret. So for us, thriving is progress, not flawlessness: catching ourselves, choosing connection over control, and trusting both our teen and our own inner wisdom.
What tip or piece of advice can you share with our reader today to empower them to SHINE?
Stop giving advice. Start asking questions. When your teen is struggling, your instinct is to jump in with solutions but advice isn't what they're looking for, and it usually gets you resistance instead of gratitude.

The shift that changes everything is moving from advice-giver to coach, and the easiest way to do it is to ask a question instead. Trade "Here's what you should do" for "What have you already tried?" Trade "You can't be on that screen until your homework's done" for "What's your plan for finishing your homework?"
Please share one or two quotes that you find impactful. These quotes can be from you or from someone else as long as they are powerful and moving!

“Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding.”
~ Albert Einstein
Any final thought, share, or idea that you would like to share with our readers today? It's never too late, and you don't have to do it perfectly.
You will mess up every author in this book has. You'll slip into advice-giving, say something you regret, feel like you've failed because your teen is struggling. But a mistake isn't the end of the story; it's an invitation to repair and reconnect. The relationship is resilient enough to hold your imperfections.
And when you're not sure what to do next, trust your own inner wisdom not the loud, reactive voice you hear first, but the quieter wisdom that tends to speak second.

Let’s share the spotlight to our next author, Becky Moller! Becky is a mindfulness and meditation teacher, the author of the international best-seller Undone, Unafraid, and the creator of Undone Academy, where she guides men and women out of overwhelm and back to themselves one breath, one moment, one day at a time. live their best lives.
Please provide us a 1-3 sentence description sharing about you/your organization, mission and purpose:
Becky Moller is a mindfulness and meditation teacher, the author of the international best-seller Undone, Unafraid, and the creator of Undone Academy a mindfulness-based, trauma-informed program for ongoing healing and growth. Her work weaves together 12-step recovery, somatic embodiment, and presence-based practice into a daily framework she's refined with hundreds of men and women.

Share with us the title of your Book and a short 1-3 sentence description of your Book: Undone, Unafraid is the memoir I wrote about being broken open by trauma and betrayal and the raw, gritty mechanics of what it took to actually rebuild my life. It traces my path through 12-step recovery, embodiment, and mindfulness, and my wrestle with ego awareness, femininity, faith, and identity that happened along the way. I was amazed to see it become an international best-seller in the United States, Canada, India, and Australia.
What inspired you to write your book?
For over a decade in group healing spaces, I've witnessed the power of sharing story. When someone in the depths of despair sees you've been where they are and come out stronger, healthier, more whole that's a priceless gift. I received that gift in 12-step rooms from people who knew the raw and gritty mechanics of how healing happens and were willing to be seen in their vulnerability.

Undone, Unafraid is the book I needed when I was breaking, and my way of paying that gift forward.
Describe something our readers today can look forward to discovering in your book.
I think readers can look forward to feeling permission. Permission to be messy. Permission to let trauma, betrayal, and the body all have their say. Permission to allow themselves to be undone before they get to unafraid, because for everyone I’ve ever walked with, that’s how this goes. Undone, Unafraid doesn't promise a tidy bow at the end it offers the honest braid of 12-step work, embodiment, and mindfulness that rebuilt my own life. The takeaway isn't a promise of unicorns and rainbows. It's the simple baselines that keep a person connected to their center, and the deep-level acceptance that this imperfect path is the way.

What are 1-3 tips you can give our reader to help them step forward in their life powerfully?
1. Start with the body, not the mindset. The body holds the truth. Most people are trying to change from a nervous system on alert for years. Regulate the body first breathe, move, find your center. The rest follows.
2. Keep your own side of the street clean. A 12-step phrase I live by. You can't fix anyone else own your own breath, choices, patterns, healing. Returning to your own center, again and again, is the work.
3. Pick three daily practices and protect them. For me: Nourish, Move, Anchor. A life rebuilds on consistent practices, not breakthroughs.
Share something you are passionate about: I'm passionate about what happens in a room when people stop performing and start telling the truth. Group healing whether it's a 12-step circle, a retreat, or a weekly Zoom with my Undone Academy clients is where I've witnessed the deepest, most honest healing of my life. Not because anyone fixed anything. Because they let themselves be seen breaking, and then seen rebuilding. There's no medicine like a room of people who've decided to stop hiding.
What are some ways you are helping to bring this forward in the world? I bring it forward by showing up in the actual containers where this work happens. Weekly in-person classes in Spanish Fork and online cohorts inside Undone Academy.

My 60-Day Challenge as the on-ramp for actual mind-body-spirit practice. Annual retreats women's, couples', silent for clients ready to go deeper. And one-onone mentoring for the deepest work. And my book, Undone, Unafraid, for the people I may never meet, but need this message. Real change happens in containers; and I see my job as to keep fine-tuning the best way to meet people there.
Share something you have overcome or a success story with us. One of the biggest wins of the past decade has been watching what my own healing has done for the people I love most especially the generational shift in my children. The daily, one-day-at-a-time work of staying accountable and showing up present has shaped a kind of emotional intelligence I didn't have at their age. It's helped them live from love and purpose, not from fear. And as they've become adults, it's grown into something I value more than I can say: mutual respect and true friendship.
What does thriving mean to you?
Thriving, to me, is encapsulated by the opening intention we share each week in my year-long program, Undone Academy: it means that each day, I’m seeing more clearly, gaining greater capacity to love, increasing my sense of peace, purpose & joy, and making healthy choices that serve myself, others, and the world.
What tip or piece of advice can you share with our reader today to empower them to SHINE?
My piece of advice: don't try to shine. Try to come home. The shine the wellness industry sells is often performance: idealistic with a lot of “should’ing”. The shine I've seen in real people is quieter, messier and infinitely deeper. It's what happens when you learn to regulate your nervous system, stop fighting reality, and start showing up present and surrendered in your own life. Start there. The light other people see in you is the byproduct.
Please share one or two quotes that you find impactful. These quotes can be from you or from someone else as long as they are powerful and moving!
“Stop trying to heal yourself, fix yourself, even awaken yourself. Let go of letting go. Stop trying to fast-forward the movie of your life, chasing futures that never seem to arrive. Instead, bow deeply to yourself as you actually are. Your pain, your sorrow, your doubts, your deepest longing, your fearful thoughts... are not mistakes, and they aren’t asking to be healed. They are asking to be held. Here, now, lightly, in the loving arms of present awareness.” - Jeff Foster

You know that quiet nudge inside the tender, enduring whisper that you're meant for more.
Many of us have learned to talk ourselves out of it. What we want is unrealistic. We tell ourselves we're not ready yet, not experienced enough, not whateverenough. We wait for some external signal that it's finally our turn.
We are waiting for permission.
Here's the thing: that quiet voice? It is not a dream or an illusion. It's your own accumulated wisdom trying to get your attention.

Let's be honest the world shouts whose opinion matters. Social media, self-help culture, productivity gurus: everyone tells you how to live, think, and be. In all that noise, your voice gets drowned out.
That inner voice has been with you through everything. Every tough decision you navigated. Every time you pushed through something you thought would break you. Every moment you knew, quietly and certainly, that something was wrong or right before you could even explain why. That's not random intuition. That's the distilled wisdom of your entire lived experience, speaking directly to you.

The problem is we've been trained to distrust it. We second-guess it, override it, apologize for it. We'll take the advice of a stranger in a podcast before we listen to what our own gut has been quietly saying for years.
My journals have been a silent witness to my inner knowing ever since I was a little girl. Today, they are a treasure of memories documenting past missed encounters and triumphant victories.

What if you started treating that whisper like it had something important to say?
Think back over the chapters of your life. No, not just the highlight reel. The real-life episodes of it. The form letters that brought devastating life-altering news.
The relationships that didn't work out. The job you left or should have left sooner. The times you said yes when every part of you was screaming no. The times you took a leap and surprised yourself completely. I’m happy I listened to that voice urging me to attend an Information Session about Spring Quarter in London and had such an amazing solo adventure.
Each experience gives you a deeper knowledge of yourself—your needs, passions, and what dims or excites you. This is your personal growth curriculum.
And here's what's remarkable: that inner voice has been processing it all. Every stumble, every breakthrough, every long quiet season of just getting through — it's all been absorbed, reflected on, filed away. When the voice nudges you now, it's drawing on that entire library. It knows things your rational mind is still catching up to.
When the whisper says step forward, it's not being reckless. It's being informed.
I’m suggesting a reframe to rewrite your story and step into the spotlight. Staying in the background is comfortable and safe. I realize that might feel uncomfortable at first: claiming the lead role in your own life isn't selfish.
Think about it. When you keep shrinking, deferring, and waiting for permission before you show up fully, you're withholding the unique perspective only you can offer, the wisdom only your journey produced, and the self your inner voice has always recognized.

Taking center stage doesn't mean demanding attention. It means showing up authentically — in your relationships, your work, your choices — as the person you actually are, rather than a cautious, edited-down version of yourself. It means letting the whisper guide you rather than silencing it to keep the peace.
You've been rehearsing long enough. The role was always yours.
So how do you actually tune in to that quiet voice when the world is so relentlessly noisy? It doesn't require anything dramatic. It starts with small, honest moments of stillness.
Ask yourself, genuinely: what is this period of my life trying to show me? Not what should I be doing according to everyone else, but what does my own experience — my own history — suggest? What patterns keep repeating because I keep not listening? What keeps lighting me up, even when I try to talk myself out of it?
Keep in mind that the wisdom you are distilling from your life experiences is a deep pool of ever-revealing awareness. There are many layers to us, and it is fascinating to observe as the insights of this cherished, elusive voice unfold.
The voice rarely shouts. It emerges in the gap between busyness — morning thoughts, in the middle of a walk, that honest moment before sleep. It speaks more in feelings than in words. A sense of aliveness when you're doing what matches your true self. An energy when you live a life meant for you.
Learning to be the star of your own story begins with hearing your inner voice, trusting it, and — gradually, imperfectly — following it.
Your inner voice is clear: you're not a supporting character or waiting on the sidelines.
This is your story.
You have survived things, built things, loved people, lost people, and picked yourself up more times than you can count. These experiences shaped someone remarkable — someone with a specific, irreplaceable way of seeing the world. Shaped you!

The spotlight is not for someone else—it's always followed the real you.
All you have to do is stop stepping out of it.
The next time the quiet voice nudges you forward, pause and ask what it knows. It’s been paying attention all along.
That voice has seen it all. It believes you’re the star. Now it’s your turn to believe it.
Start today: set aside ten minutes, listen to your inner voice, and write down what it’s urging you to share. Don’t wait for permission—begin your story now.
It’s time to step into the spotlight and unleash the writer in you.
