THYBLATE™ Secures NMPA Approval in China!
We’re pleased to announce that THYBLATE™ , our internally cooled thyroid RFA electrode, has officially received regulatory approval from China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) , marking a significant step in expanding our thyroid RFA solutions to one of the world’s largest medical device markets. This approval follows the 2024 NMPA clearance of our M-3004C RF generator, completing our core thyroid ablation system portfolio for the Chinese market.

RF MEDICAL participated as an exhibitor at the 9th CCIR 2025, held from June 20 to 22 in Hefei, Anhui Province. We conducted a liver ablation demonstration using the MYGEN™ M-3004C, which received positive feedback for its clear and precise ablation shape. Highlights RFA Solutions at Korea’s Ob/Gyn Congress
RF MEDICAL participated as an exhibitor at the 19th Spring Congress of KCOG, held at Seoul, Korea. The congress gathered over 1,200 OB/GYN practitioners and featured practical lectures alongside hands-on sessions.

Advancing Radiofrequency ablation with MYGEN™
RF MEDICAL participated in the 2025 KSUS, held on May 11 in Seoul. The congress focused on the latest trends in surgical ultrasound, AI-based diagnostics, and precision medicine, with hands-on workshops and expert lectures across diverse surgical specialties.
We were invited to the Industry Session, where we introduced Mi-BLATOR™ Microwave Ablation System as a cutting-edge technology in the medical industry.
In the scientific session, the safety and effectiveness of thyroid RFA procedures were strongly reaffirmed during the scientific session, presented by Prof. Jaeho Shin from Korea University Medicine who has used RF Medical’s THYBLATE™ system for a long time.

RF MEDICAL participated in KSUM 2025, held at COEX from May 8 to 9. This annual event is Korea’s leading Ultrasound Congress, featuring live demos, hands-on sessions, and diverse clinical tracks such as breast, thyroid, and abdominal ultrasound.

Modern approaches in the treatment of vascular diseases
Our local distributor, Cardiointech, successfully presented RF MEDICAL’s advanced solutions for the treatment of varicose veins at the 40th International Conference on Modern Approaches in the Treatment of Vascular Diseases held in Russia.
The event led to the signing of multiple sales agreements and meaningful discussions with key opinion leaders.
Notably, Cardiointech met with Prof. I.A. Suchkov, President of the Russian Phlebology Association, and agreed to collaborate on promoting RFA technology throughout Russia.

Hepatobiliary Disease Management: Trends and Challenges
RF MEDICAL took part in the 17th Liver Update in Jakarta, supporting our Indonesian distributor, PT Natural Hilife on-site. Together with our partner, we operated a booth to showcase our radiofrequency (RF) and microwave (MW) ablation technologies, holding productive meetings with local medical professionals.
On the 25th, two stations each for RFA and MWA were set up as part of the Hands-on program, where procedures were demonstrated using the MYGEN™ M-3004 and Mi-BLATOR™ MW-100 Generators. Additionally, on the 27th, Dr. Juferdy delivered a lecture titled "A Cutting-Edge and Effective Therapy for HCC Management." focusing on microwave liver tumor ablation.

April 21-23 l Panama City, Panama Panama Masterclass drives RFA momentum in Latin America
In April, RF MEDICAL partnered with new distributor Akromed to host a regional RFA masterclass in Panama City, marking the company’s first educational event in the country. The program brought together physicians from across Latin America—many from regions where RF MEDICAL’s products are already in use but had limited access to formal training.
This milestone event not only introduced RF MEDICAL’s technologies to Panama but also served as a catalyst to deepen engagement across the region. Further workshops are planned in multiple Latin American countries beginning in early August.
Shortly after the masterclasses, MYOBLATE™ systems were featured in a local Panamanian news outlet, which highlighted their innovative use in minimally invasive uterine fibroid treatments.
Building on the success of the Panama sessions, RF MEDICAL plans to expand its educational programs and support broader RFA adoption throughout Latin America.

We recently conducted a regular HEMO-BLATE™ Academy training course in Indonesia. Thanks to the enthusiastic cooperation of Dr. Oggy, Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Tebet Jakarta, and our distributor PT Natural Hilife, we were able to film a procedure video demonstrating the radiofrequency treatment for hemorrhoids using our internally cooled electrode — a key feature that di erentiates our system from conventional RF hemorrhoid treatments.
This very practical video presents the treatment protocol and immediate e ects, providing valuable education to physicians who cannot attend the on-site training in person. It will help medical professionals from countries less familiar with RF hemorrhoid treatment gain confidence and expertise.

The 3rd Annual Penn State Hershey Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) Training Course was successfully held, bringing together physicians committed to advancing their skills in thyroid nodule treatment. The hands-on course, conducted using the THYBLATE™ RFA System, continues to serve as a key educational initiative supporting the clinical adoption of thyroid RFA in the U.S.
Led by an expert faculty including Dr. David Goldenberg, Dr. Jennifer Holkem, Dr. Erivelto Volpi, Dr. Leonardo Rangel, and Dr. Elizabeth Cottrill, the program provided participants with practical training and up-to-date clinical insights, featuring didactic sessions, phantom models, and cadaver-based training for a comprehensive learning experience.
This recurring course continues to grow in reputation, o ering a collaborative platform for knowledge exchange and skill development in minimally invasive thyroid procedures.
Copenhagen International Head and Neck Ultrasound Course

In June, our newly joined team member, Jan, represented our company for the first time at the annual Copenhagen International Head and Neck Ultrasound Course organized by Dr. Todsen.
The event, which we have consistently attended over the years, brought together experts from across Europe for a mix of in-depth lectures and hands-on sessions. The THYBLATE™ system was set up at a key ultrasound station, where highly experienced faculty provided live demonstrations and hands-on instruction to a groups of participants.
Jan also had an opportunity to meet with leading experts from the UK and Denmark, gaining valuable insights and establishing connections for future collaboration.

Successful First THYBLATE™ Thyroid RFA Procedure in Colombia!

We are proud to announce the successful completion of the first thyroid radiofrequency ablation (RFA) procedure in Colombia.
Dr. Joel Arévalo, a head and neck surgeon from Medellín, performed the procedure at Clínica Medellín de Occidente.
The procedure was carried out under local anesthesia and sedation, lasting about one hour, with no complications observed when the patient awoke. Santiago Zapata, Biomedical Engineer, assisted with the THYBLATE™ RFA System during the procedure, helping to ensure its smooth operation.
