BETTER CALL QUALITY Ultra Mobile is continually upgrading our network to ensure our Customers have the best experience possible by providing Better Call Quality, Better
Coverage, and Faster Speeds.
As we make these upgrades, some devices may experience dropped calls. To guarantee best call quality we recommend that Customers use 4G LTE devices that have VoLTE or are 5G capable. We will be messaging customers on older devices to let them know that we recommend upgrading their device for the best experience while using their Ultra Mobile service. upgrading to a 4G or 5G and VoLTE capable device. As a reminder, the primary bands for 4G phones are 2, 4, 12 and 71 while for 5G phones, the primary bands will included 71 & 41. You may need to help Customers enable VoLTE in the situation that they already have it but have it disabled.
