Abstract: Sanjeevni hospital despite being in a remote area of District Sonebhadra, Uttar Pradesh acquired a good place in preventing Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome corona virus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Following all the preventive measures and from all the manual approaches like setting-up necessary infrastructure , distribution of masks, spreading awareness, proper medical check-ups to technical approaches like initializing online hospital management software for virtual doctor consultancy in order to provide minimal hospital visits to employees and patients, Sanjeevani hospital developed an organized strategy for fighting against corona virus disease. I. INTRODUCTION NTPC Limited (formerly known as National Thermal Power Corporation) is a Central Public Sector undertaking under the Ministry of Power, G.O.I. & is India's Largest Energy Conglomerate with presence in the entire power value chain. Conceived way back in the year 1975 solely as a thermal power-producing company with the intention to accelerate the power development in the country, this organization has matured into a 61000+ M.W. Company in a span of four & half decades & has forayed into Hydro, Solar & gas based generation as well. Recognizing its outstanding contribution to the overall development & growth of the country it was bestowed with the prestigious "MAHARATNA" status in the year 2010, one amongst the only four P.S.U. to be conferred with this Honour. Singrauli Super thermal Power Station popularly known as N.T.P.C. Singrauli is located at Shakti Nagar, in Sonbhadra district of UP, 200 km from Varanasi. & was the First project of N.T.P.C. Conceived in the year 1975 & is affectionately referred to as the Mother plant of N.T.P.C. It has an installed capacity of 2000 M.W. & is amongst the best-operated power stations of the country in terms of Plant Load Factor. The employees, their families & associates, are housed in a nearby township & to cater to the health requirements of all of them including the neighbouring community is a 100 bedded Hospital Called "SANJEEVANI". In the next few pages, we'll share with you the initiatives & experiences of Sanjeevani in handling the situation arising out of this pandemic from this remotely located hospital. Since an ample amount of contract workers manoeuvre in the N.T.P.C. area, hence, the hazard of corona spread could have prospected at a higher rate. So, following an allocution, "Prevention is better than cure" Sanjeevni hospital with 'Samarpan' N.T.P.C. Singrauli's own N.G.O. headed by C.M.O. placed an arrangement for safeguarding health of all the workers and made them aware of all the safety measures and precautions.
