THE SCHOOL DAY (What’s different in Year 3) End of Day – In Year 3, school ends at 3.50pm. Children may walk to the Pen in the afternoon where a member of staff will ensure they are safely collected by car. At 4.10pm, the parents of children not collected will be telephoned and the children will be sent to Extended Day. Matins – The children attend Matins at St Mary’s Church on a Tuesday and Friday morning. This is a short sung service and every class from Year 3 to Year 6 attend. Classes take turns to do readings and the choristers sing. 7.30 am

Pupils may be dropped off at the playground, where they will be supervised. Alternatively, children may be dropped off at the Pen in the morning and will be greeted by a member of staff.
