PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

I would to thank all the Members who attended The Future of the Golf Course focus groups We had close to 150 members join us for the 14 groups. Many Members who attended acknowledge the intensifying water and drainage issues on the golf course. Additionally, they expressed an appreciation for the importance of addressing the water to mitigate the problem and also to protect the course and the Club for future decades The Golf Course Task Force, the Board and the leadership team are reviewing the input we received from the groups to help us finalize the plan. There were good and very specific questions from attendees. We are working with architect Joel Weiman, contractor McDonald & Sons, engineer George, Myles & Buhr LLC (GMB), DelDOT, DNREC, and Sussex County Conservation District to address these concerns and questions. The answers will be incorporated into the in-depth communication that will be sent to all Members that will include a detailed explanation about the need for the project and explicit information about the plan; the required member assessment; and the voting specifics.

Whether you are a long-tenured Member of RBCC, or a more recent Member, I have no doubt you have a love of the beautiful property on which the golf course sits Our golf course has been here since the club relocated in the early 1960s. We have not made any significant changes to the course, except for the greens over a 10-year period during the 1990s Our course is a low-lying property along the bay with houses surrounding the outer edges This location accelerates the serious challenge we now face. I ask that you take the time to understand the necessity for the golf course project and the long-term benefit it will have for the entire Club and your investment in it. Please keep up with the communications regarding the Future of the Golf Course by visiting the Member’s website < Future of the Golf Course.

Summer at RBCC: Your Corner of Paradise

Summer has officially arrived, and if there is a better place to spend it than RBCC, I have yet to find it.

Our Rehoboth area offers countless attractions, but what makes this season so special is that everything you could wish for while you’re at the beach can be found right here at the Club. Whether you're looking for recreation, relaxation, fun and friendly competition, family fun, or simply great company, RBCC continues to be the place where memorable summer days are made

Golf, of course, remains at the heart of our summer season. Whether you're enjoying your regular tee time, competing in our Men's or Ladies' Leagues, working on your game with lessons, or following the action as a spectator during this year's Delaware Amateur Championship, there is no shortage of opportunities to immerse yourself in the game we all love The

GENERAL MANAGER’S MESSAGE

golf world throughout our region is especially active this year, with the PGA Championship at Aronimink, the U S Amateur at Merion, and the Senior Tournament at Lehigh keeping the GAP community buzzing It is an exciting time to be a golfer, and RBCC is proud to be part of that energy.

Our Racquets community is thriving as well. Under Emma's leadership, Members have more reasons than ever to step onto the courts, elevate their heart rates, and enjoy some friendly shots over the net. Afterward, there's no better reward than gathering with friends for a bite to eat and a refreshing beverage at the Halfway House or the Clubhouse.

The momentum continues throughout our Fitness and Wellness programs. Despite the steady traffic and ongoing challenges of keeping up with demand, our Fitness Center remains one of the busiest and most vibrant areas of the Club. Early each morning, Members fill the Clubhouse to participate in meditation, massage therapy, yoga, barre, Tai Chi, and many other wellness offerings. Now that the pool is open, activity levels have increased even more, with open swim, water aerobics, swim team practices, and a full calendar of upcoming children's pool parties creating excitement for all ages

camp sessions over the years to accommodate demand, and I am told there are still a few openings available If you're interested, I encourage you to reserve your spots soon before they are filled

For those who have missed the delicious food, refreshing drinks, and unforgettable breezes on our patios, you'll be happy to know that our dining venues are now open seven days a week To help us provide the best possible experience, please make your reservations in advance whenever possible (it honestly makes taking care of you so much easier)

And while you're here, why not add a little extra fun to your Club visits? Join us for Trivia Nights, the monthly Book Club, Mahjong Club gatherings, our ever-popular Sunday Cookouts, and the many specialty dining events planned throughout the summer, including a new event the Tribe trusts me to hostthe June Judgement. There is always something happening, and every visit offers a new opportunity to connect with fellow Members and create lasting memories.

Speaking of our younger Members, summer camps continue to grow in popularity. We've added additional

I know the beach can be incredibly tempting. That's exactly why I like to get there early before the traffic builds, before the parking meters start running, and just in time to return to the Club. Because after all, RBCC is our corner of paradise And when you arrive,

staffed and ready for the season is waiting to welcome you, your family, and your guests with the exceptional service and memorable experiences you deserve.

While many of you were away during the offseason, there was certainly no shortage of activity at the Club. I hope you'll join me for Coffee with "C" on June 20 at 8:00am It's a great opportunity to catch up on everything happening at RBCC from the newly available Centennial Book this month to updates regarding the future of the golf course, as well as any other Club topics you'd like to discuss. I always enjoy hearing your thoughts and answering your questions

1925

As we begin what promises to be an outstanding summer, thank you for making RBCC such a special place. We look forward to seeing you often, sharing great experiences together, and creating another season filled with unforgettable memories.

See you at the Club

EAGLE FOUNDATION

IN MEMORIAM

Martin A Schagrin

Who passed away on May 22, 2026.

RBCC Member since July 20, 1968.

C's Poem of the Month
"If

a June night could talk, it would probably boast it invented romance. "

DAY: JULY 24

The 1925 Eagle Foundation is holding its first annual Foundation Day on Friday July 24. It will include golf, tennis and pickleball tournaments and more. The 1925 Eagle Foundation provides financial support in the form of grants, to Talon Tribe members in need, as well as educational scholarships for both Talon Tribe members and their families. The Foundation also supports local charitable organizations in the greater Rehoboth Beach area.

For each tax deductible $100 donation to the Foundation, participating RBCC Members will have the opportunity to compete for prizes in these three events in the form of Club merchandise certificates. The donation also includes a luncheon served at the Halfway House for all golf and racquets participants, and drinks and hors d'oeuvres served at the reception. We will also have 50-50 raffle tickets with 50% of the raffle proceeds going to the 1925 Eagle Foundation.

Each individual participating can register for these tournaments online at rbcc1925.org, or on July 24 on ForeTes through golf and racquets. When you complete your registration and $100 donation on the Foundation website, it will generate a ticket for each participant. If both spouses want to participate, both must register individually. The website will ask you which of the three tournaments you want to register for. You can also participate in both racquets and gold tournaments. However, tee times and court times will still be reserved under the ForeTees system. Please note that all normal Club fees and Guest fees still apply. For example, if you want to invite a guest (two is the maximum number of guests for golf), the member must pay the $100 donation online, and both guests must do the same. The member will also be charged the $145 Guest fee for each guest.

We look forward to seeing everyone at this club wide event on July 24th. If anyone has any questions regarding Foundation Day, they are welcome to email us at info@rbcc1925.org.

CENTENNIAL BOOK UPDATE

We are pleased to announce that the RBCC Centennial Book will be available for purchase starting at the end of June. The Centennial Book encompasses Club history starting from 1925 all the way through the New Year’s Eve Celebration ringing in the next century of 2026. The Centennial Book is an 11.5x11.5 coffee table book featuring 120 pages of history, Member stories, and photos. If you pre-ordered the Centennial Book, you will receive a personal communication regarding how to pick up your book and when it will be charged to your Member Account.

The Member must complete a Caregiver Form prior to the “Au Pair” or caregiver accompanying a child on Club property. Click here for the Caregiver Form. For questions, contact Mary Veneema, Member Services Specialist.

WEBSITE LOGIN ACCESS

If you need assitance accessing the Member’s website or with the ForeTees app, contact Mary Veneema Member Services Specialist Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5pm.

UPDATE YOUR FAMILY REGISTRY

The Club will be sending the annual Family Registry update form this month. If you have any changes to your family make-up, such as bringing a child into the family or getting married, or have a different primary address please fill out the Family Registry Form. By filling out this form, you are acting as a steward to RBCC assuring your information on file is up to date and accurate. This will also ensure your dependents have no issues using the Club this season.

WELL WISHES TO CLUB CONCIERGE, CHELSEE MIRANDA

2026 CALENDAR CHANGES

The season is officially underway! Memorial Day has come and gone Although cooler temperatures were felt in April and May, we had many “golfable” days getting us off to a great start for the 2026 season. We have so many events to look forward to ahead. This season brings a slight change to the standard calendar in June with the arrival of the Delaware Amateur and the Member-Member moving from its standard June date into August. The golf course woke up late from the winter due to the cooler temperatures, but Alan and the team have the course looking great for the season

DELAWARE AMATEUR

Looking ahead, Rehoboth Beach Country Club is excited to host the Delaware Amateur Championship June 22–24. Please note that there will be golf course limitations and periodic closures Monday through Wednesday during tournament week as preparations and competition take place We kindly ask Members to plan accordingly if intending to play golf during those dates. Additional details and scheduling information will be communicated as the event approaches.

MERCH OF THE MONTH

New merchandise has arrived at the Golf Shop, with even more exciting items on the way for the season! This month’s Merch of the Month features stylish new arrivals for both men and women:

Men: Anderson Ord patterned polos

Women: RNWK pleated skort & scallop wrap skort

RESIDENTIAL HOMES DURING PLAY

As we continue through the golf season, we would also like to remind Members about respecting our neighboring properties surrounding the golf course Several holes throughout the course border residential homes, particularly in areas marked out of bounds. While we understand the desire to search for golf balls, we ask all Members and guests to avoid entering neighboring yards or private property at any time Respecting these boundaries is important to maintaining the strong relationship we share with our neighbors and community. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding

AJGA TOURNAMENT UPDATE

\The final weekend of April brought an exciting and memorable chapter to American Junior Golf Association competition at American Junior Golf Association competition at Rehoboth Beach Country Club as we proudly hosted a four-day AJGA tournament featuring some of the top junior golfers from across North America. Despite challenging weather conditions throughout the weekend, players, volunteers, staff, and spectators demonstrated tremendous resilience and enthusiasm that made the event a tremendous success.

Over the course of the tournament, nearly 100 volunteer shifts were staffed by dedicated members and supporters who helped ensure a first-class experience for all participants. From shuttle operations and scoring to hospitality and pace of play support, the commitment from our volunteers was instrumental in the smooth operation of the championship. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who gave their time and energy throughout the event.

In the Girls Division, Kaeleigh Chung of Richmond Hill, Ontario captured her first career AJGA victory with a 2-over-par 218. Chung earned low final round honors and recorded eight birdies during the championship en route to her best AJGA finish to date. Finishing runner-up was Myra Tomer of Newtown, Pennsylvania at 5-over-par 221 after successfully qualifying into the tournament field.

The Boys Division concluded in dramatic fashion as Weston Kim of Oakton, Virginia secured his first career AJGA victory by birdieing the 18th hole to win a playoff after finishing at 2-over-par 218. Kim recorded 11 birdies during the tournament and played the back nine in the second round at par or better throughout. Runner-up honors went to Alex Mack of Stamford, Connecticut, who also finished at 2-over-par 218. Mack posted 10 birdies during the week and recorded par or better on the back nine throughout the opening round.

The event showcased outstanding junior golf talent and reflected positively on our club, membership, and community. We are incredibly appreciative of everyone who contributed to making the championship such a successful experience for the players and their families.

GOLF BALL RETRIEVAL

we would like to remind Members about golf ball retrieval around the ponds on the golf course Recently, we have noticed an increase in Members searching ponds for golf balls and leaving unwanted balls along the pond edges This practice can negatively impact pace of play and create an undesirable appearance around the golf course We kindly ask that Members refrain from searching for balls in ponds unless their golf ball is easily visible and readily retrievable. We also ask that any balls recovered be properly discarded or taken with you rather than left near the water’s edge. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain the condition and presentation of our golf course.

Pat and George represented Rehoboth Beach Country Club at the PGA Championship at Aronomink Golf Club joining fellow section professionals in working various roles throughout the event. Pat and George worked in the practice and short game areas.
