Regional Parks Discover your parks: park spotlight sntsk’il’ntən – Black Mountain Regional Park A 640-hectare regional park on the eastern slopes of Kelowna, sntsk‘il’ntən - Black Mountain Regional Park was created through the collective efforts of the Regional District of Central Okanagan, Westbank First Nation, and the Province of British Columbia. Featuring stunning views, extensive hiking trails, and conservation areas for the critically endangered grassland ecosystem. Park at the Joe Rich Road trailhead and hike the sntsk‘il’ntən or Summit Trails or park at the Swainson Road trailhead and hike the Ephemeral Pond or Hoodoo Trails – and prepare to be amazed! Park hours: June 1 to August 31, 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
