David & Anette Davis McKinney, TX

David and Annette Davis are from North Texas and will spend about half of the year in Colorado. We love spending time with our grandchildren. Annette is retired and David is still a practicing Cardiologist and plays golf.

Mike & Mary-Kathryn Desaloms

Dallas, TX

Mike and Mary Kathryn are looking forward to spending more time in the Vail Valley. They are new homeowners in the Old Creamery Ranch in Edwards, and recent empty nesters with a total of five kids in their early twenties, all of which adore the mountains and skiing with the family.

When Mike is not working in Dallas as a neurosurgeon, he likes to surf in Costa Rica and play golf with his wife and kids. Mary Kathryn is the owner of an organic juice and smoothie bar in Dallas that is in the process of developing its third location in 14 years. She is a lso an avid bird watcher and lover of all things outdoors, including a recent proclivity for golf with Mike.

Kyle & Jennifer Floyd

We are delighted to be Members at Red Sky Golf Club. We have appreciated the welcoming environment and friendliness of all of the members we have met and also the team! Jen and I met in Seattle and both attended the University of Washington.

We have lived for extended periods in Seattle, WA, Newport Beach, CA, the Cayman Islands, and presently Westminster, CO. We are entrepreneurs at heart having started and exited a handful of different businesses. Kyle is the CEO of a public mining royalty company and Jen is in the fitness industry.

We have four kids: Jackson – 11, Camden – 9, Daphne – 5, and young Axel -3. Everyone is slowly taking up golf but we have yet to tackle taking all four out on the course at one time. Thoughts and Prayers when we do. We joined because we found the serenity of a twilight round at Red Sky to be one of our favorite places in the world and consider ourselves so fortunate to get to be a part of the club. We look forward to meeting the other new members and veteran members alike, and to many rounds of fantastic golf and camaraderie.

Pason & Renée Gaddis

Edwards, CO

Pason and his wife, Renée, split their time between Fort Myers, Florida, and Edwards, Colorado. Both are originally from Iowa and are graduates of Iowa State University.

Pason has spent his career in media, while Renée has built a career in interior design; they each founded and operate their own companies.

They have two children: Berkley (22), a senior at Iowa State, and Colin (17), a senior in high school. The family enjoys boating, skiing, and golfing with friends and relatives.

Jim & Jennifer Haidu Scottsdale, AZ

Jim and Jennifer Haidu reside in Desert Mountain of Scottsdale, AZ and have a home in Singletree in Edwards CO. Jim grew up in Naperville, IL a western suburb of Chicago and attended Benedictine University. Jennifer grew up in Ames, IA and attended the University of IA.

Jim recently retired from being the Chief Actuary at Allstate Insurance where he met Jennifer who worked in Human Resources.

Our oldest son Grant graduated from Alabama and now lives and works in Chicago, IL. Our youngest son Bennett just graduated from ASU and will start working in Phoenix, AZ in August.

Mark & Kimberly Jackson

Louisville, KY

Kimberly and Mark Jackson are originally from Texas, but have been in Louisville, KY for the past 30 years. They have three adult children, Kendall (27), Hadley (25) and Henry (22) who live in Dallas and Louisville. The Jacksons have been life long “regulars" to Colorado (and the Vail Valley for 20 years) but are now able to spend extended periods of time out west.

Mark is a physician specializing in Dermatology. He splits his time between his clinical practice in Kentucky and a biotechnology company focused on discovering and developing therapies that target chronic inflammatory diseases in California. Kimberly enjoys her role as the Director of Domestic Affairs for the family. Both Mark and Kimberly are avid skiers, snowshoers, hikers & golfers and are thrilled be a part of the Red Sky community.

& Karen Mahan

Bentonville, AR

Paul and Karen Mahan call Bentonville, AR home. Paul’s an Arkansas native, while Karen hails from central Illinois. They’ve got two grown kids, three grandkids, and a Standard Poodle they adore.

Paul runs a headwear and glove business but is slowly easing into retirement. They’re excited to spend their summers golfing, biking, and hiking, with a few weeks of skiing thrown in for good measure!

Andy & Erin Miller

Denver, CO

Andy co-founded Copley Equity Partners in 2012 and heads Copley’s Denver office. Copley is a private equity firm that invests in businesses across North America. Andy is also the Co-CIO and Co-Founder of Fox Rock Capital, a family office investment company, which makes fund-offunds investments into alternative asset managers. Prior to Copley, Andy worked for Summit Partners, a global private equity and venture capital firm, based in Boston and Palo Alto.

Andy received an MBA from Harvard Business School where he graduated with Second Year Honors and has a degree in Economics, cum laude, from Dartmouth College where he also played Varsity Soccer.

Andy and his wife, Erin, live in Denver’s Washington Park neighborhood – about a mile from where Andy grew up – and have two children: Harrison (8) and Haddy (5), both of whom attend St. Anne’s Episcopal School. The Miller family spends as much time as they can at their home in East Vail.

Peter & Sarah Millett

Edwards, CO

Peter and Sarah are originally from Pennsylvania but have called the beautiful Vail valley home (currently Lake Creek) for the past 20 years. In 2005 Peter Millett relocated his sports medicine practice from Massachusetts General to the Steadman Clinic and raised their four children in the valley, Posie (22), Grace (21), Sadie (19) and James (17). The Milletts also consider their two labradors, three English setters and cat part of the extended family!

The Milletts are avid skiers and hikers and are actively involved in many philanthropic organizations in the community. Sarah serves on the boards of Bravo!Vail music festival and the Vail Valley Foundation. Peter is a board member of the Vail Health Behavioral Health foundation and serves a Research Advisory Board Member at the Steadman Philippon Research Institute. The Milletts are very excited to join Red Sky Golf Club and hope to become more consistent golfers and meet new friends!

Chris & Juliet Rhodes

Highlands Ranch, CO

The Rhodes/Greene Family

Chris and Juliet Rhodes split their time between Highlands Ranch and Minturn, Colorado, having moved to the mountains three years ago for their love of everything the outdoors offers. They're passionate about skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, and golf, embracing Colorado's year-round recreational opportunities.

Chris works as an Accountant while Juliet is a Culinary Consultant, balancing their professional lives with family and adventure. The Rhodes have four boys spread across the country: Colby at University of South Carolina, Logan at SMU, Nolan at University of Vermont, and Carter entering his sophomore year of high school. Despite their boys being scattered from coast to coast, Colorado remains home base for this active, mountain-loving family.

John & Becky Rooney

Germantown, TN

John & Becky Rooney recently became homeowners in Arrowhead Village (Edwards, CO) and now split time between Germantown, TN and Colorado. John grew up in Connecticut and Becky was raised in Central New York State (the Finger Lakes region). They have three children, all girls. They have two dogs, both girls.

Hello! We are from Windermere, Florida, and are new homeowners in Bear Paw at Bachelor Gulch. We have two wonderful children, Ryan and Sarah, and a very loved (and perhaps a bit spoiled) Labrador Retriever named Zena. Our favorite activities include hiking, biking, golfing, skiing, and playing tennis.

We initially came to Colorado for the fantastic skiing but have since fallen in love with the beautiful summers, the unique off-seasons, and the overall incredible weather. We're looking forward to spending as much time in Colorado as possible, whenever Mike can escape his job.

Kevin & Shawna Wilson Edwards, CO

For the last 20 years, the Wilsons (Kevin (52), Shawna (51), Christian (25), Collin (24), Conner (19), and Cora (17)) have lived in the Vail Valley full-time with their extended family, during which time they have attended The Vail Church, made great friends, and loved the community. The kids attended Vail Christian High School.

The Wilsons were Red Sky Members for many years, until 2013, taking a break to visit Lake Powell too often when not running to and from years of juniors nordic and bicycle races. Hailing from San Juan Capistrano, California, where they met in high school; they have been married for over 30 years.

With an “empty nest” this year, they are excited to rejoin Red Sky’s community and activities and to play golf less poorly, together and with new friends.
