Fourth Sunday after Epiphany Pastor Mark H. Larson, preaching The theme of the Day: Who are the blessed ones of God? For Micah, they are those who do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with God. For Paul, they are the ones who find wisdom in the weakness of the cross. For Jesus, they are the poor, the meek, the merciful, the pure in heart, the peacemakers, those who mourn, and those who hunger for righteousness. In baptism we find our blessed identity and calling in this countercultural way of living and serving.
Stephen Minister Blessing THIS Sunday This Sunday at the 9 am and 11 am worship services, we will bless our Stephen Ministers. These gifted people are following in Jesus’ footsteps by helping our congregation provide the gift of caring ministry to those who are going through a variety of life difficulties. Let us celebrate the faithful work they are doing through this ministry and thank God for their generous response to this call. January is National Human Trafficking Prevention Month For the past 12 years, Redeemer’s response has focused on anti-child sex trafficking in Georgia through our small group Redeeming Grace and its involvement with Wellspring Living’s transformational care of child sex trafficking victims.
