MARCH 2025
LUTHERAN CHURCH OF
THE REDEEMER ATLANTA, GA
2025 Lenten Theme: "Belonging" As we enter the sacred season of Lent, our theme for 2025—"Belonging"—invites us to reflect on our connection to God, our faith community, and the world around us. In a time when many struggle with isolation and uncertainty, Lent offers a renewed opportunity to deepen our sense of belonging through prayer, reflection, and acts of love. Lent is traditionally a season of sacrifice and renewal, but it is also a time to recognize that we are not alone in our journey. We belong to Christ, who walked the path of suffering and redemption for us. We belong to one another, called to support and uplift each other in faith. And we belong to a greater mission —to live out the Gospel in ways that bring healing, hope, and unity. Throughout this season, we encourage you to embrace belonging in tangible ways: Through Prayer – Spend time with God, knowing you are deeply loved and accepted. Through Community – Participate in Worship, Lenten small groups, or acts of service that strengthen your connection with others. Through Reflection – Consider what it means to belong fully to God and how you can extend that same welcome to those who feel lost or alone. This Lent, let us walk together in faith, knowing that we are part of something greater than ourselves. May this season remind us that in Christ, we always have a home—a place of true belonging.
