This Fall is ripe with opportunities at Redeemer to GROW FAITHFULLY and SERVE BOLDLY. GROWING FAITHFULLY. Challenging, thoughtful, and engaging discussions can be found in various Faith F o r m a t i o n c l a s s e s a n d r e t r e a t s. C h i l d r e n can ask questions and deepen their understanding of our faith through Faith Stepping Stones. Men can explore their calling in Christ as they fish and cook out at L u t h e r a n c h . W o m e n c a n s a d d l e u p o r r e st and renew through retreat offerings at L u t h e r a n c h . S h a r e a m e a l a n d c o n v e r sa t i o n with others at our Wednesday night dinners. After reflecting on these questions, come to Redeemer’s Fall Kick-Off on Sunday, August 20th. Find out more about classes, retreats, and opportunities to serve. Bring a friend who is looking for a community that is centered in Christ and focused on others. That is who we are. May it be so.
Redeemer’s tagline, “Growing Faithfully. Serving Boldly” articulates our core telling everyone we are centered here in Midtown Atlanta as a community that benefits deeply from the nourishment of our faith and shares it in service to others. This tagline comes from Redeemer’s Strategic Plan, launched in 2019. It is a memorable refrain that reveals who we are. At Redeemer, we do not exist for ourselves alone. We are Other focused —growing in God, serving with others.
SERVE BOLDLY. Learn new skills by becoming trained to visit members in their homes or run the AV system during worship. Roll up your sleeves and don an apron, hat, and gloves to serve up a hot meal to our u n s h e l t e r e d n e i g h b o r s o r h e l p so r t donated food to the Lutheran Community Food Ministry. As the summer winds down, now is the time to take a moment to reflect. -How is your relationship with God? What is one faithful step you can take toward God? - H o w i s y o u r t i m e o r e n e r g y sp e n t or shared? What is one bold thing you will do to serve others?
