Employee Appreciation Week Redding Rancheria
The week of July 13th was the start of Redding Rancheria’s Employee Appreciation Week. Redding Rancheria celebrates the employees for their hard work and dedication, and this year employees were selected in a drawing every day of the week with a chance to win a gift certificate. Also, every employee was gifted food vouchers for Summer Fun’s Food Truck Tuesday, where Players Pizza and Sports food truck and Dogs on a Roll food truck came through to feed our employees as a big thank you. Redding Rancheria is proud to play our part by supporting our employees!

Redding Rancheria Tribal Membership Drive Thru Meeting Redding Rancheria
Redding Rancheria hosted the Drive-Thru Membership Meeting this month including a food station where Otter Pops and Watermelons were handed out to Tribal Members, and a Covid-19 station where goodie bags were administered. In addition, elders were provided with essential food items. We appreciate all of our Tribal Members and hope everyone stays healthy and happy!

Michael Hollowell’s Adoption Story Redding Rancheria
Michael Hollowell is Redding Rancheria’s attorney, and he and his wife recently adopted four children from South Dakota. Their ages are 9, 11, 12, and 15, and all of them are blood-siblings. The adoption was made official as of May 28th, and it’s something the Hollowells have considered doing for quite a while now. Initially, the siblings were separated from one another with the two girls being in one foster home and the two brothers being in another. Michael and his wife felt it was important to bring the four of them together so they could remain in the same household for the years to come. Michael expressed how pleased he and his wife were at how quickly all of them have bonded as a family, and how well all of them have assimilated.

Great Outdoor Challenge Redding Rancheria
Employees at Redding Rancheria continue to participate in the Great Outdoor Challenge scheduled on through to September 7th (Labor Day). Our top winners will receive prizes for their time spent in nature. Some of our employees recently visited places like Potem Falls, Fern Canyon, McCloud Falls, and the Trinity Alps to name a few. Redding Rancheria is proud to support health and wellness by encouraging our staff and their families to go outside and play! #corporatewellness #proudtoplayourpart

Dr. Christine LiWanPo is one of our most sought after doctors. Patients love her and her schedule fills up quickly. She connects with people and goes the extra mile in her care for all her patients. She can often be found at her desk late at night long after everyone has left the clinic. A habit I am unsuccessfully trying to break her from.
