California Assembly Delegate District One Redding Rancheria
The Redding Rancheria congratulates Miranda Edwards on winning her election as a delegate for California Assembly District 1! Out of the 30+ candidates who ran, Miranda received the third highest amount of votes. We look forward to having a delegate that is knowledgeable on Native American issues and will provide outstanding representation to the Redding Rancheria, Shasta County and greater assembly district 1 community! EDDING RANCHERIA TRIBAL HEALTH SYSTEM COVID- 19 Vaccination Redding Rancheria
Redding Rancheria’s Trinity Health center has started vaccinating patients for COVID-19. We held our first vaccination day and had over 98 patients show up to be vaccinated. There has been such a great turnout that we have 2 more days scheduled in order to meet all our patient needs. Vaccinating as many patients as possible in the safest and most efficient manner possible is the vision of the Redding Rancheria Tribal Health System. This is why our vaccinations are open to any and all patients age 18 and over. If you are a patient of Redding Rancheria’s Trinity Health Center and would like a COVID vaccination please call us at 530-623-0021 and schedule an appointment for a vaccination.

Employee of the Month We would like to congratulate Tonya Geers, Paralegal/ Court Facilitator, as the Employee of the Month for February 2021! Tonya Geers received this award for the following reasons: Tonya has taken on a lead role in processing many legal documents, reviewing contracts, and providing support to other departments within the Tribe when needed. Tonya discovered that a state agency had miscalculated a regulatory fee against the Tribe’s gaming operation. Tonya took immediate
action and resolved the issue in order to meet the regulatory deadline. Tonya goes above and beyond to do what is best for the Tribe and its members. It is truly a pleasure to work with Tonya, and she is well-deserving of being recognized as the employee of the month. Congratulations Tonya Geers!!! Thank you for your continual dedication and superb work!
