There is something about reaching beyond ourselves to support those who may be struggling, and about building a culture where helping others is not just an act, but a way of life. For our tribe, giving back is woven into who we are. We believe deeply in lifting up the community that has embraced us, encouraged us, and stood beside us through every season. December marks a special time of year for us. It’s a month of tradition, reflection, celebration and yes, it’s officially holiday time, which often means shopping! But for us, the heart of this season goes far beyond finding the perfect gifts. We don’t just shop; we shop to give back. One of our favorite traditions is watching our managers come together, not to fill their own carts, but to fill the hearts of families in our community. There is joy in every aisle, laughter in every conversation, and purpose behind every gift chosen. Knowing that these presents will bring comfort, hope, and happiness to local families reminds us why this tradition matters so much. Helping others strengthens our unity. Giving back reminds us of what really matters. And together, we continue to build a legacy of compassion, gratitude, and community support. This is who we are. This is the spirit of the season. And this is the tradition we proudly carry forward, year after year.

Win-River Resort & Casino Team Member Holiday Party 2025 Great accomplishments don’t happen by accident; they happen through teamwork, passion, and the dedication of people who believe in the dream. This year’s holiday celebration was a perfect reflection of that spirit. On the evening of the party, everyone arrived dressed for the occasion, some in festive holiday style, and a few fully embracing our Polar Express theme with creativity and flair. The Christmas backdrop made for perfect photo opportunities. The night was filled with holiday-themed drinks at the bar, exciting raffles, and of course, our beloved Plinko board. With plenty of prizes up for grabs, delicious food to enjoy, and endless laughter and conversation, the room buzzed with joy, connection, and celebration. We are truly honored by the efforts, dedication, and heart our team members bring every single day. This event is just one small token of our appreciation, a way to say thank you for the commitment that keeps our mission strong and our dreams moving forward. Tribal Member Holiday Party 2025 On Saturday, December 13, 2025, we gathered for the Redding Rancheria’s Adult Tribal Member Party. A night filled with joy, unity, and the powerful reminder of what it means to come together as one community. Events like this are more than celebrations; they are moments that honor the deep bonds of family, culture, and shared identity. Coming together allows us to strengthen the ties that hold our Tribe strong. It is in these moments, sharing stories, laughter, traditions, and time with one another. It is important that we reinforce the connection between generations and celebrate the spirit of who we are. We celebrate the gift of being a part of something bigger than ourselves. Sovereignty is not only a principle; it is lived through togetherness, through honoring our ancestors, and through building a future where our people continue to thrive. This gathering reminded us of the importance of protecting our sovereignty, nurturing our unity, and celebrating the resilience that defines the Redding Rancheria. Redding Rancheria Employee Holiday Party 2025
Our employees truly are the heart of Redding Rancheria, and this year’s holiday party was all about celebrating the incredible work they do every day. The night kicked off in unforgettable fashion with a high energy performance by Wonder Bread 5. From rock and hip hop to pop favorites and throwback hits, they had everyone on their feet from the very first song. The dance floor stayed packed all night, and the energy never slowed down. Beyond the music and dancing, the evening was filled with great food, laughter, and time spent together as a team. Guests enjoyed exciting raffle prizes, including custom made jewelry from GoodIron Beadworks. Fan favorites like Plinko returned, along with the always popular Cash Cube, keeping the excitement going throughout the night. The turnout was incredible. With staff and their guests filling both the Win-River Resort & Casino Events Center and the Eagle Room, the celebration was full of smiling faces, shared laughs, and moments worth remembering. If social media is any indication, the joy of the evening is still being shared. We work hard every day to serve our community and make meaningful impacts, but we also know how important it is to celebrate our successes together. This holiday party was a perfect reminder of the strong, connected, and joyful team we are. Celebrating Family, Community, and the Magic of Christmas At Redding Rancheria, the joy of the holiday season extends far beyond the workplace. This year, we were honored to treat our valued employees and Tribal Members to a truly magical evening at the Redding Garden of Lights. In the spirit of community and togetherness, Redding Rancheria rented out a night at this enchanting venue, creating the perfect opportunity for Tribal Members and employees to make lasting memories with their families. Surrounded by the sparkling displays and festive glow of the Garden of Lights, our community came together to laugh, connect, and celebrate the season. Redding Rancheria takes great pride in fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie, and events like these highlight our ongoing commitment to creating a vibrant, inclusive environment for all. As we reflect on a beautiful night shared with our extended family, we extend heartfelt holiday wishes to our employees, tribal members, and their loved ones. May this season bring warmth, joy, and light to every home. 8
Jingle Bell Run, Healthy and Fun Way to Celebrate the Holiday Season The Jingle Bell Fun Run took place on December 6 at the Sundial Bridge, offering a brisk and festive 2 mile walk or run hosted by Turtle Bay Exploration Park. Participants began at the bridge and made their way through the McConnell Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, finishing at the entrance of the Garden of Lights, where they were treated to a dazzling display of more than 2 million lights. This event beautifully reflects the mission of our Redding Rancheria Wellness Program, which strives to incorporate all dimensions of wellness, social, physical, mental, and more. The Jingle Bell run brought together a group of 10 employees, creating a fun and supportive atmosphere that highlighted the community aspect of wellness. The weather was perfectly cool and crisp, and with the Garden of Lights nearly empty, participants enjoyed a peaceful experience and some fantastic photo opportunities. It was a memorable way to kick off the December festivities while embracing wellness in a meaningful way.

Shining the Spirit of Giving This Holiday Season The 7th Annual Redding Rancheria Family, Feast, & Fun event was a heartwarming celebration of laughter, joy, and community spirit. This year, we were honored to give away 300 free turkeys, hams, and board games while spreading holiday cheer and brightening the season for families in need throughout our community. As we gather during this special time of year, we are reminded of the true essence of the holidays: gratitude, compassion, and togetherness. What began as a simple act of giving has grown into a cherished tradition, bringing families, friends, and neighbors together in a festive and uplifting atmosphere. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event unforgettable. Your presence and support reflect the kindness and generosity that define our community. During this holiday season, may we share joy, extend helping hands, and carry the spirit of giving whereever it is needed most.

Redding Rancheria Tribal Health System Announces New Public Health Advisory Board
The Redding Rancheria Tribal Health System is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Paul Davis to the Public Health Advisory Board. Dr. Davis brings strong experience in public health and clinical leadership, and his knowledge will support the board’s continued efforts to strengthen community health. As a member of the Public Health Advisory Board, Dr. Davis will take part in regular board meetings and related discussions, and will stay connected with staff when he is unable to attend. He will contribute to committees, coalitions, and board projects, and will stay informed on board matters by reviewing meeting materials, offering input, and preparing for discussions. Dr. Davis will also support a collaborative, productive working environment and participate in the board’s ongoing planning and evaluation efforts. “We are excited to welcome Dr. Davis to the Public Health Advisory Board,” said leadership of Shasta County Public Health. “His commitment to community wellness and his professional expertise will be a tremendous asset to our work.” We look forward to the valuable contributions Dr. Davis will bring to the board and the broader community. 11

These two show exactly why you should work for the Tribe. We really support the tribal community, and I am so proud of that. We can offer you a career, and I know I have built both a career and a family here. I truly love it!” Kristine Sherwood: “I think getting us out to I 5 is going to be very exciting. It will be a refreshed beginning, a new start built on the strong foundation we have already established here. I am excited to see where we are headed and how far we can go the sky is the limit. We are just going to keep growing.” Chantel Winn: “If someone asked me if they should start working here, I would definitely encourage them to. Starting at a young age is a great way to build your career and gain experience.” We are proud of the journeys, growth, and dedication of our team members. Together, we are building a lasting legacy for future generations.

Redding Rancheria Community Fund Awards Over $89,000 to Nonprofits The Redding Rancheria Community Fund has awarded grants to 35 nonprofits in Shasta and Trinity counties totaling $89,369. The Fund supports a variety of causes including cultural, historic, and educational activities. “The Redding Rancheria Community Fund’s commitment to supporting our local nonprofits is a testament to our dedication to enhancing the quality of life in Shasta and Trinity counties,” said Tracy Edwards, Chief Executive Officer at Redding Rancheria. “These grants will empower organizations across various sectors to continue their vital work, fostering a stronger, healthier, and more vibrant community for us all.”

RREDCO Gets into the Holiday Spirit! We are ready to roll for this season’s holiday giveaway. On Friday, December 19, our team at the Redding Rancheria’s Economic Development Corporation (RREDCO), alongside the Sundial Collective team, proudly participated in the 4th Annual Ham Giveaway. With true teamwork and caring hearts, the team showed up and loaded 125 hams to donate and distribute to the Shasta Dam Kiwanis Club. A big shout out to our local Save Mart for assisting us and helping make this event a success.
