Redding Rancheria was proud to be out in full force during the inaugural IRONMAN 70.3 Northern California, cheering on athletes and sharing in the excitement of race day. With perfect weather, incredible energy, and strong community support, the event was a memorable celebration of determination, athleticism, and connection. Community members gathered along the course to encourage competitors as they took on this challenging event. Congratulations to every athlete who crossed the finish line, and thank you to everyone who came out to show their support. Redding Rancheria was honored to be part of such an unforgettable day.

Redding Rancheria Welcomes IRONMAN 70.3 Northern California Redding Rancheria was proud to help kick off the inaugural IRONMAN 70.3 Northern California, presented by Dignity Health, with the Start Line Social on Friday, August 14. Held at Whistle Stop Park, the event brought together athletes, families, friends, spectators, and community members for an evening of celebration before race day. Guests enjoyed live music, local flavors, and the excitement of welcoming competitors from around the world to Redding. The event opened with drumming, followed by a prayer from Chairman Jack Potter Jr. and a welcome from CEO Tracy Edwards. The Start Line Social reflected the energy, community spirit, and warm hospitality that made this inaugural event so special. Redding Rancheria was honored to be part of race weekend and to welcome athletes as they prepared to take on the course on Sunday, August Thank you to everyone who attended and helped create a memorable start to an incredible weekend.

Redding Rancheria Tribal Member Team Takes 2nd A special congratulations goes to one of Redding Rancheria’s own relay teams for bringing home the second-place trophy at the inaugural IRONMAN 70.3 Northern California. The team included sisters Skylar and Dani Hayward, along with their cousin Destiny Richardson, who competed together on their ancestral lands. Their achievement reflects remarkable dedication, teamwork, and determination. The team represented Redding Rancheria and the Tribe with pride, strength, and excellence throughout the course. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishment and grateful for the spirit they brought to this memorable race weekend. Congratulations to the team on an outstanding performance!

Redding Rancheria Discover Health Fair The Redding Rancheria Tribal Health System was proud to host an incredible 2026 Discover Health Fair at the Win-River Casino in August. We welcomed over 100 vendors and at least 900 guests this year, making it the best-attended event of Redding Rancheria history! Thanks to the amazing turnout, we were able to perform 245 A1C’s and hand out over 500 free prizes to our community members. It was a truly wonderful day dedicated to health, wellness, and community. We would like to thank the amazing vendors and employees who make this event possible every year. Your hard work, positivity, and collaboration are what makes the Health Fair a fun and successful event for our community to look forward to every year!

Employee Of The Month We would like to congratulate Loretta Eveland as our August 2026 Employee of the Month. Loretta was recognized for her extreme reliability and dependability. She very rarely misses work days, allowing her to manage several different providers at our RRTHC location. Her work ethic and ability handle a heavy workload is a shining example to others. She is always willing to help with difficult prior authorizations and is always willing to make time to help and answer others questions. She is always excellent at getting back to patients in a timely manner, ensuring they receive the care that they require. She is always willing to go the extra mile, not only for patients but for her fellow coworkers as well. Congratulations, Loretta, and thank you for your dedication and the positive impact you make every day.
