At Reddam House Sydney we believe in raising global citizens.
The school is proud to offer an exciting array of international and national tours throughout the year, providing our students with invaluable opportunities for cultural enrichment and global exploration. These tours are designed to broaden their horizons and foster a deeper understanding of the world’s diverse cultures and histories. Whether it’s an outreach program or an educational journey our tours enhance not only academic learning but promote personal growth.
The HSC Art Retreat to Hobart and the Museum of Old and New Art has been planned to compliment Term 1 study of how museums and galleries provide a template for the display of contemporary art.
While at MONA, students will complete their 3rd Visual Arts Assessment Task for their HSC, comprising of case study questions, an essay and a virtual gallery curation. This is an amazing opportunity for students to gain a better understanding of contemporary art practice and see installation and interactive works in the flesh.
The students also get to visit a dramatic production at the Cascade Female Factory and enjoy an afternoon at the Salamanca Markets. This is a highly valuable trip for those students submitting a Body of Work for HSC Visual Arts.
